How important is he to the show's quality ? I don't keep up with the staff so I don't know who's important and who isn't.

I don't know much about Toei Animation, but why have they been using so much DB Kai background music recently?

Sumitomo is the composer for both DBS and Boo Kai, plus BoG and RoF. It's only natural that they'd make good use of his old tracks.

^^I see, thanks. He's been using all my favorite tracks from Boo Kai so far.

He's basically the show runner, he was credited alongside Chioka in the Champa arc and the Trunks arc is the only time he was credited solo in the role on Super. It's an important part of the production as the person in that role basically helps bring everything together and helps shape the show as a whole, but if he is getting replaced we would have no idea how it would effect the show's quality, if at all.
But we don't know if Morio is getting replaced, they could just be doubling up on the role so that Morio can be hands on with more episodes like he was for 66, or maybe he's focused on Toriyama's next arc while Kohei will be heading a filler arc, I mean Toyotaro did say the manga was going to be ahead of the anime so that'd make sense. If Morio is leaving though that will be depressing, but we shouldn't just immediately be doom and gloom if that turns out to be the case, Kohei could turnout to be a fine series director.
Either way we don't know what's going on right now so it's not worth people getting upset over just yet. I've said it a million times on this subject, but people just need to wait and see what happens.

Kei17's sources said Toriyama wasn't sure he was going to continue writing due to Super's quality and I think there was some truth to that cause of the big jump in quality between the 1st 3 arcs and the last one so I won't be surprised if they're letting him work on Toriyama's new arc early to make sure the quality is up to his standards.

Even if he's leaving I think we should just wait till the main arc starts before jumping to either conclusion.

Is that new arc announcement supposed to be this week or next week? Because while December starts this week, its first full week is next week; and I read the announcement had to do with the beginning of December.
On hiatus.

It's coming at Jump Festa, so either December 17th or 18th.

But death has insurance in the Dragonball world my friend, there would be nothing to worry about. It would raise tension in the show, something that's been lacking a bit with the exception of the last few episodes of the FT arc.

I believe she is not worried about their deaths, but that would mean they will be off-screen for a while

It's this one. I experienced this past weekend's episode without Vegeta and I know I wouldn't want him absent for multiple weeks. I wouldn't want to lose Gokû for multiple weeks either.

I see. Well that's not happening to Goku so we can scratch that off the list. As for Vegeta, it is possible, but I highly doubt it. We have seen Vegeta go off screen due to being killed a few times in DBZ so I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again.

With that being said, this new villain will have high expectations in the upcoming arc, mainly because with all of the flaws of the FT arc, its greatest assets was that Zamasu was developed well. He wasn't your typical doomsday villain with no real intent other than just destroy things.

I believe Goku and Vegeta will get a chance to visit planet Salad soon as well.

It's false, right? It's just a crappy article from a shitty clickbait site, right? Please tell me there is no chance whatsoever of something like this happening.

Yeah it is BS garbage. General rule of thumb I go by is anything that pops up on Google when you search "Dragon Ball Super" that's not from a trusted site (like Kanzenshuu) it's complete garbage and not worth your time. Why Google props these sites up I have no idea.
