Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
I'll be going to Manchester showcase. It's about an hour away but my girlfriend has family down there so I'll kill two birds with one stone that way.
Manga said they will be adding more screens if it turns out to be popular.
Travelling is going to be such a pain especially since none of me or my mates own a car, it's a toss up between Walsall and Dudely depends which one is cheaper/easier to get too. I having a feeling tickets will go quick especially since it is only one showing on one day, so gotta to decide quick lol.
September 30th! Let's go!!!!!! Nearest one to me is Walsall I guess I'll take that.
The only showing closest and the most convenient for it seems is the showing in Newham. It'll still be a bit of journey for me, at least one hour. But F it. This is a DBZ film we're talking about

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

Kunzait_83 wrote:And if you're upset because all this new material completely invalidates the tabletop RPG rulebook-sized statistical system and flowchart for the characters' "canonical Power Levels" that you'd been working on painstakingly for the last bunch of years now... well I don't think there's a kind, non-blunt way of saying this, but that's 100% entirely your own misguided fault for buying so deeply into all this nonsensical garbage in the first place. And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

I'll have to see which cinema is closest to me because I don't think any of them are that near but if they do extend the amount of screens they're showing at I could get a cinema that's closer...except there's no guarantee that they're going to do that...meh I'll see what happens, I'll definitely support the official release and buy the blu ray regardless when it comes out
-Edit- Ooohh the Manga UK twitter is saying they'll be updating more locations hopefully nearer to London so I'll stay tuned
The "book ticket" button finally showed up, but the only cinema listed as available is Poole (Tower Park). Is it still glitching and not displaying the others, or did they all sell out that quick? o.0

I'm quite impressed that Showcase Dudley is screening it, as that's the cinema I usually go to anyway. Shame I'll be at university in Stafford then, but I was expecting to have to travel to Birmingham anyway, so this is still surprisingly convenient. I really hope this does well and Manga do more/bigger cinema screenings in the future.
SSJ3_Zack wrote:I decided to go to the Dudley Cinema as the Walsall one is quite frankly shit . I've actually got to go to a interview and it's near Dudley Cinema tomorrow. Would I be able to pick my tickets up then? If someone could help me out I'd be appreciative as I'm confused as to how this works.
Yeah my mates don't want to go the Walsall one either, for that very reason so Dudley for me then too!
Wow, that's pretty crazy. I guess tentatively I will be looking at the Teesside Showcase showing as according to my diary I'm due back up in the North East that week for some family stuff.

Well me and a couple of friends have booked both showings currently listed on Empires website for Newcastle. I'm not sure why there are two showings listed compared to everywhere else, but they're showing back to back.
It appears to be filling up pretty quickly. The top seating plan is the 8pm showing, while the bottom is the 5:45pm showing.
It starts at around 9:55 ish. It's obvious they're not super into the series as we are. Calling Kai the "reboot on Nickelodeon" and not knowing that characters don't say shit. I'm sure if you made a comment on the video explaining it to them, they'd understand. I would, but I'm not sure how to word it and I didn't watch the whole review for 'F'. Just like, the first minute or so.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.
