Anyway, it kinda looks like theirs a shoulder bad on his right arm and you can clearly see the armor that rests over the thigh by the left leg. The hair is definitely similar to Goku and besides him, the only ones who fit the bill would have to be either Bardock or Tullece.
Or on the off chance, its something related to the Hero characters.
If you go through the effort of watching the video I posted covering Kurieza, somewhere in there you can get a clearer shot of the Saiyan silhouette if you have good timing. There is no shoulder pad, it's just a regular round shoulder.

. Scouter Vegeta got shoulder pads. You mean Vegeta on Namek? That didn't have plates around the waist. None of Vegeta's outfit fit the black image so......I don't understand how you can even make a joke about that....
A lot of people I know over the years love SSj3. I can see why people didn't like SSj2 that much since it was just SSj, but with more spiky hair. While Bardock is cool, I feel like Bardock did not need to have his own special. I'm surprise SSj3 Trunks didn't get his own special, but I'm glad that he didn't if Naho Oishi was going to write it. Oishi is good at drawing, but awful at writing seeing how EOB turn out.

This is exactly what happens every few months or so. Someone new finds it, thinks it's the best thing ever, the rest of us that are watching this thread see that, check it out, and are utterly disappointed. Always gets me. Too funny.

Regardless, I'm not saying it IS Super Saiyan 2 Bardock, that's just what seems to fit the image and description the best as of right now. Totally willing to be wrong, along with half the Japanese fans on Youtube, and let it be someone else instead. Something besides adding onto Bardock's arsenal would be great.

No, I don't think there is any specific English spelling to be seen anywhere for the character. His name works the same as Freeza with that elongated "I", so the use of "ie" is just my own personal way to preserve both the the "kuri" pun and a bit more of Freeza's name.

That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
