Tuffles aren't canon. They were never shown or mentioned in the original manga.

The story of the Tuffles was written by Toriyama himself and given to the anime staff to make the episode we all know. So going by the “canon” rules, the Tuffles and their story are canon but, again, we should really stop using that word.

The Tuffle is possibly anime exclusive. The Yardrat in the anime was based on a non-canon filler episode, so in the manga his race was never mentioned and he never used instant transmission. This means for all intents and purposes he's not a Yardrat in the manga.

Completely forgot that San Diego Comic Con is happening next month. Thanks to Ajay for pointing it out in his video that the con is happening from the 19th to the 22nd of July. Toei will be there and they're most likely going to show off some stuff from the movie. It's most likely going to be a trailer like how I speculated a few pages back. Pre-release tickets go on sale on the 20th of July, as we saw with Resurrection 'F' that usually means a trailer drops and the official website gets a big update. The DB North American Tour will be on at this time. V Jump comes out around this time (they'll probably reveal the poster). San Diego Comic Con is happening around this time. I'm 90% certain that there's going to be a trailer dropping on the 20th of July.

I don't know how likely they are to show a trailer but we'll surely get the movie's name and main poster.

Hopefully it'll be something that tells us more about the movie as I'm worried it'll be another teaser that doesn't show anything like Goku and Vegeta just walking up to someone.

I'm expecting this to be the debut of the first minute long trailer. Just like what we got for the recent One Piece films, BOG and ROF.

It'll probably won't reveal too much, and not every scene will be in the correct context, but it should be a good sneak peek into what the film could be like.

I agree 100% but I'm not holding my breath. RoF was the golden chance to have the kids grown up and see what hapoened... they only seem taller in the manga where they barely appear, and in the anime Goten got smaller. Unless Toriyama himself makes new designs for them I don't think they will bother. I would love to be proven wrong tho.

On a random unrelated note, your profile picture makes me wonder how SSG would look on this style. We probably won't see it on the film but I'm curious.

I was hoping Goku would go like this in the film, Base->SSG->SSGSS (-> UI), I want the old forms to be redundant now but hopefully he at least goes SSG once, I am sure he'll show off all the forms to the villain Saiyan. SSG in aura is when I don't like the form so if it does appear hopefully they fix that, basically not a fan of the darker red.

I definetly agree, honestly with Blue existing the yellow forms are redundant imho, but seeing the Champa arc and that the designs for this own movie already show yellow normal SS I think it can't be helped. I suppose it depends if there is more than one villain or we will have Goku and Vegeta taking turns against the enemy again (please no again, Toriyama...) just like in RoF and like the original fight with Merged Zamasu would have gone is he was as weak as Toriyana intended.

I love SSG and personally the best tone for his hair colour is the aura-less one as you say. He looked awesome in 114, it's a shame we didn't get to see him shirtless. I would love if the entire auras got reworked for this movie anyways since the anime version of Blue's aura looked awful to me, while the problem with the yellow forms was something more of the yellow being odd if that makes sense.

If the yellow SS forms were redundant I think people wouldn't badger on about SSGSS being essentially a recolour as it would replace SS. But given the Champa arc was a tournament I get why they needed the SS forms, a way for the audience to gauge opponent etc but after that SS forms were hardly used (in fact Vegeta didn't use regular SS until the ToP I think) so they really should have done away with them. And I agree the yellow colouring was awful, something like Kai OP would have been perfect:

I love SSG and SSGSS equally (though they've both been topped by UI!) but my god is SSG under-appreciated I am thankful Toei brought it back in the ToP but the merchandise folks just don't give a toss about the form when I found out that one of the upcoming DBS Son Goku FES line was gonna have red hair I was excited when it turned out to be SS4 Gogeta it felt like a massive kick on the balls... I don't think the form has recovered from its poor showing in BoG movie since that was its debut.

Also I am not sure how a skinny shirtless SSG Goku would look... I don't think I want too lol. I do think the form looks best aura-less with the bright gi and white trim boots!

They are both awful colourings. The Kai OP's colouring is worse. I can't even look at that image without straining myself.

The Kai OP has this weird filter but at least the hair is gold yellow as opposed to yellow yellow like DBS that was what I was moreso getting at. The Ultimate Blast opening, highlights aside, is probably a better example.

Obviously we now have Shintani and hopefully it looks good with and without aura.

DB is currently too big for an anime to not be airing, especially with Toriyama wanting to continue working on the franchise. The question is whether it'll be Super continuing or a new anime taking its place.
