which means we will probably see it again

Oh and if Roshi does well next week expect more of him.
Lol no, literally everything is up this week. Nothing to do with SSG.

For the series? They're all in the OP. Unless you meant something else.
I mean for this week

Holy shit, what the fuck happened to One Piece?

That is a shockingly low rating.

I knew DBS ratings will decrease with Roshi being the focus, but its embarrasing for OP that they barely defeated an episode featuring Roshi, considering that it had Niji vs Sanji, Sanjis past, Nami fighting Cracker(for a moment looked like she borrowed the Saiyan girls plot armor).

Dang, everything is low. Sazae only in the 8's and the One piece special.

4.6.

Thoughts:
-Aren't we in the final throws of summer vacation in Japan?
-the next episode preview shown on tv was exclusively Roshi who I don't think is as popular with kids as other characters. I don't think the tv preview showed Gokû or Krillin either.
On hiatus.

Its funny and sad that Roshi did better ratings than Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin and 18 episodes.

As long as i can remember these are series low for both One Piece and Maruko-chan, but maybe it's the lowest rated OP special too.

It seems the weekend anime were the most affected - Pokemon and Shin-chan did the usual after all - but yeah, standards are definitely getting lower. It wasn't that long ago that Maruko used to score 12+...

I didn't even realize that. Interesting.

Maybe it wasn't so bad they kept him on the team, though it doesn't say much about those four.

Those episodes ranked higher, though. That really means nothing.

If we're going by rankings then wow, Super hasn't been 8th since episode 70, whichever that one was.

Edit: baseball. 70 was the baseball episode.

They should cancel the anime and just do better paced OVAs.

Dragonball Super dipping to the 4.0's already. I know everything is low, but the show is clearly not pulling in kids as much as it used to. No wonder why they're planning to rebrand the series at episode 133 with a new series. Hopefully an EOZ series with the next generation cast. That will provide a ratings boost.

It's time to retire Goku and Vegeta to the bahamas and replace them with Trunks, Goten, Pan and Uub!

Is there any reason you post that in most threads you visit? Not to mention it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
Also nowhere was it said they are gonna rebrand with a new series, thats just what you want.
I think you should keep your fantasies in topics that are more appropriate?Because clearly what you said has nothing to do TV ratings discussion.

Got some proof that back this claim? And why would the follow the Boruto example that get even lower ratings that Super?

Goku barely took a backseat in the Buu saga, at best he took a leisurely stroll round back while everyone else cried for him to come back.

Do people not know what a joke is? Precita has posted that joke numerous times now. It's supposed to poke fun at the crazy assumptions fans make when an episode does good or bad. Hell, even I've jokes about Super getting canceled because of "low" ratings.
