Holy shit, what the fuck happened to One Piece?
That is a shockingly low rating.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
I knew DBS ratings will decrease with Roshi being the focus, but its embarrasing for OP that they barely defeated an episode featuring Roshi, considering that it had Niji vs Sanji, Sanjis past, Nami fighting Cracker(for a moment looked like she borrowed the Saiyan girls plot armor).
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Dang, everything is low. Sazae only in the 8's and the One piece special.
Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
4.6.
Thoughts:
-Aren't we in the final throws of summer vacation in Japan?
-the next episode preview shown on tv was exclusively Roshi who I don't think is as popular with kids as other characters. I don't think the tv preview showed Gokû or Krillin either.

Its funny and sad that Roshi did better ratings than Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin and 18 episodes.Chuquita wrote:4.6.

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
As long as i can remember these are series low for both One Piece and Maruko-chan, but maybe it's the lowest rated OP special too.Sodhi wrote:Dang, everything is low. Sazae only in the 8's and the One piece special.
It seems the weekend anime were the most affected - Pokemon and Shin-chan did the usual after all - but yeah, standards are definitely getting lower. It wasn't that long ago that Maruko used to score 12+...

Maybe it wasn't so bad they kept him on the team, though it doesn't say much about those four.

Those episodes ranked higher, though. That really means nothing.perucho1990 wrote:Its funny and sad that Roshi did better ratings than Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin and 18 episodes.Chuquita wrote:4.6.

If we're going by rankings then wow, Super hasn't been 8th since episode 70, whichever that one was.Araki wrote:Those episodes ranked higher, though. Edit: baseball. 70 was the baseball episode.

They should cancel the anime and just do better paced OVAs.Lord Beerus wrote:Holy shit, what the fuck happened to One Piece?![]()

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Dragonball Super dipping to the 4.0's already. I know everything is low, but the show is clearly not pulling in kids as much as it used to. No wonder why they're planning to rebrand the series at episode 133 with a new series. Hopefully an EOZ series with the next generation cast. That will provide a ratings boost.
It's time to retire Goku and Vegeta to the bahamas and replace them with Trunks, Goten, Pan and Uub!

Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Everything dropped quite a bit, also R.I.P One Piece, the Roshi episode did much better in rating than i thought it would.
Also nowhere was it said they are gonna rebrand with a new series, thats just what you want.
I think you should keep your fantasies in topics that are more appropriate?Because clearly what you said has nothing to do TV ratings discussion.
Is there any reason you post that in most threads you visit? Not to mention it has nothing to do with the topic at hand.precita wrote:Dragonball Super dipping to the 4.0's already. Got some proof that back this claim? And why would the follow the Boruto example that get even lower ratings that Super?precita wrote:Dragonball Super dipping to the 4.0's already. Re: Dragon Ball Super: TV Ratings Discussion Thread
Do people not know what a joke is? Precita has posted that joke numerous times now. It's supposed to poke fun at the crazy assumptions fans make when an episode does good or bad. Hell, even I've jokes about Super getting canceled because of "low" ratings.
