That’s one hell of a mush lol.

I know Vegeta had his new pseudo form technique thingy but did Salagir mention Goku getting anything new or is he only just a little bit stronger than his Boo arc self? I can’t for the life of me remember. If he has nothing new, I don’t see how he can win this or his fight against Cell (if Vegeta loses) since he’s at least on par with Gohan and Gohan in this universe is still stronger than Goku.

I wonder if this page is a reference to the R2 Ulquiorra vs Ichigo fight from the Bleach anime where Ichigo gets tossed into a pillar. It's almost dead on.

Goku is only supposed to be a little stronger than in the Buu saga but I think it's a Vegeta is telling us he has a new form only for it to be a shock when Goku also has it scenario.

Even if their body were to be wrecked by the kaioken, they would be able to regenerate the damage quite easily. So yeah, little to no downside seems accurate to me.
