They kind of looped through in the last two arcs by not technically having new forms in SSGSSKK, Vegetto, Trunks and Rosé so they'll either pull something similar like Gohan getting SSGSS is pretty obvious one or finally bite the bullet and introduce a new proper one.

Regarding Gotens and Trunks they're, reckless, useless and boring and are nothing without fusion. Vegeta brought it up in the U6 arc so it makes sense. Roshi has vast experience as does Tien, Krillin and Piccolo. 17 &18 we know about how strong they are as we do Buu too and we know Gohan has potential so yes it's pretty logical to leave the brats at home.

That wasn't controllable though. Nobody knew that was going to happen. On paper taking Buu over kids makes sense, now there doesn't seem to be a test so again taking Buu over them makes sense.

If they invited Buu, who has constantly let everyone down first by sleeping through the entire Freeza invasion and then falling asleep during his test for the tournament, then saying that Goten and Trunks are not invited because they're reckless and might mess up holds no bearings since they're giving another chance to Buu, who has already messed up. On paper, Buu seem fine. In practice, he has proven to be the most unreliable fighter in the show.

Presumably for monsters too stupid to understand no killing rule to not enter..
It was mainly used to get rid of buu only though..
... Unless there is a monster who is stupid and strong like kid buu in universe 6 who is supposed to come join this tournament but couldn't join the previous one because of the test.. he would be really op of course

Yeah, Hit being used to show how powerful someone else is wouldn't surprise me. Especially since it looks like Goku and Hit will be fighting in these upcoming episodes anyway. So they won't really need to fight in the tournament.

Also, where are people getting the idea that we're getting a trailer soon? I don't think we've ever gotten a trailer for a Dragonball Arc.

I can see Goku beating Hit in the filler arc by just outsmarting him and not because of raw power or it might end up in a draw.

It's a staple of a fighting tournament arc. The 'villain' completely decimates the previous 'rival' character to show how powerful is for the heroes.

The point of the mini arc seems more to give Hit development as the leader of Team U6 than having him lose to Goku.

There is also a small chance U10 Team has Black in their team, what if U10 Hakaishin wants Black on his team despite that he killed him?

I just hope not all 12 Gods of Destruction are just different types of cats. This being Toriyama though, I wouldn't rule it out.

I agree with that, as it would be pretty lame if he didn't put some effort to design the Gods from other universes

U need to set up the main candidates that could win the tournament for their respective Universe.(Like how Salagir has done in DMB).

It would be lame if all of the warriors of the unknown Universes are a bunch of scrubs.
