FAKE: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360

I doubt it's fake, 'cause retailers aren't going to list it for fun, and one of the retailers was the first to leak the DMC collection months before it was announced.

Except for that one time that a retailer listed a Dragon Ball Z game for PS3 and 360 and then had to take down the PS3 listing because it was a Kinect game. And that's just the most recent example.

Retailers make mistakes too. Remember in 2004 when places like Gamestop and Ebgames listed down a Dragon Ball GT game for the PS2 but the game end up being Budokai 3? I think the Kinect game is the only DBZ game that we are getting this year and we have to deal with it. Maybe next year that Bandai Namco will be lucky release Zenkai Battle Royale' Discussion to the consoles as the main game of 2013.

Sucks that this is likely fake, but I'm still curious about the next DBZ game. I'm not a huge BT fan like I once was, but I'd like to see how a potential HD release would be handled for the series.

Maybe next year that Bandai Namco will be lucky release Zenkai Battle Royale' Discussion to the consoles as the main game of 2013.

Namco Bandai: "Huh, what's that? You guys want Spike to make another game? Don't make it a console port for Zenkai Battle Royale? Even further simplified gameplay? A couple 'new' characters that were already in previous games? Another OVA? No DLC? Another lame and repetitive story mode? Alright, if you say so!"

Ultimate Blast was totally new and barely anything like the previous Spike DBZ games, I guess they were trying out something innovative to see if the audience liked it but the majority despised it.

Spike really should try out more ways of being creative than releasing another RB/BT.

Why should they? Is Capcom creative when releasing another episode of their Street Fighter series? Same with Namco releasing "new" Tekken games and Sould Calibur games.

That's because it's what's been posted here on some online retailer website, tbh, there's a possibility they've gone back to RB for the third game, I don't know but fans seem to want it back again.

It's already been confirmed that "Raging Blast" won't return because the sales weren't what they wanted, so they are abandoning the name. They could pick up where RB2 left off, but it would be under a different title.

The link that that guy posts on his video is another website jumping the gun on Sparking Omega that later had to clarify that it was about Zenkai Battle Royale.

Can we just drop this and continue whatever valid speculation there is to be made on the HD Collection rumor thread?

Hmm, I want to know where this website has gotten this information from, and I doubt they'd write something false again. Maybe, just maybe, my efforts have paid off...

E3 is not so far off though, so I won't speculate or waste any brain power on this. I'll just wait, and see if there really is anything.

I remember the listing for Dragon Ball GT Transformation 2 as I was pretty pissed off that it wasn't released after that groundbreaking cliffhanger in the first game
Also Mortal Kombat 8 was listed as I remember, so retailers do make mistakes as half or 3/4 of these mistakes are plans of the developers or companies, who sometimes scrap their ideas or the project fails.

Even ANN now aknowledges in News, that the rumored Sparking sequel whatever was false info from some fan and they got the V-Jump physically with the ZBR update.

My favourite would certainly be Dragon Ball: Generations Blast, but I doubt it'll either have "Generations" or "Blast" at least in the international version because for example, Ultimate Blast was renamed to Ultimate Tenkaichi.
