Resurrection F Sabat got his wish about the edited version not airing, at least not on Toonami, a children's station may pick it up towards the summer, I guess we'll see.
The edited Hercule version of Super will air at 8pm, The uncut Mr.Satan version will air at 11:30 when Toonami starts.
Confirmation or it didn't happened
EDIT: Jason Demarco just confirmed that they're not editing Super at all nor are they airing FUNi's just in case edited dub. It'll be completely uncut

Is Toonami still starting at 11:30 and Super just airs on Adult Swim first? If Super airs at 8:00, what airs between that and midnight?

Usual Adult Swim stuff and then Toonami kicks off at 11:30pm with a rerun of the 8pm episode of Super. Buy Kai will also air on Toonami, they both will air on there but episodes of Super will premiere on Adult Swim at 8pm before rerunning on Toonami at 11:30pm so like a reverse of what they did with Kai for a while

This is what they did with Kai when they were in the Freeza arc, they had the edit version play at 8pm for kids to watch it earlier while at 11:30/midnight was the uncut version for the series. So since Super has both the 8pm and 11:30am timeslot it's likely 8pm is the edited cut.
Chris Rager and Chris Sabat confirmed that they recorded both an Edited cut and Uncut version of Super, it's very likely for 8:30 of Super to be the Hercule/HFIL dub version of Super.

No they didn't, anyone can tell you that you're wrong there. They recorded an edited dub of Super just in case Adult Swim/Toonami didn't pick it up and it could be used if Nicktoons or some other channel also air the series later on down the line but as for Toonami, it's uncut. DeMarco co-runs Toonami, he wouldn't lie dude
Here's his reply to me about it:
https://twitter.com/Clarknova1/status/8 ... 1417316352
Adult Swim has different practices than CN, they don't hold back their programming at all from what it shows. This goes for Kai and Super at 8pm and during Toonami, just because it'll be airing at 8pm initially before rerunning doesn't mean that the episodes will be edited during 8pm because it wouldn't make sense for multiple reasons. You don't see them editing King of the Hill or Family Guy at 8pm, Super will be uncut in both time slots

He co-runs Toonami, not Cartoon Network (the main channel). It's still very likely that 8pm is the edited censored dub just as they did with Kai back in the Freeza arc, while the 11:30pm version is the true uncut Super dub. They've done it before this way they can do it again.

He's also head of programming for Adult Swim, they're not editing Super at all and they never did that with Kai. You are very misinformed if you think they did something that they clearly didn't and if you can't take official word as well...official word.
SUPER WON'T BE EDITED ON ADULT SWIM OR TOONAMI

Don't waste your breath if he's choosing to ignore. I knew long before confirmation from DeMarco that it wouldn't be edited at 8. When they had an early second time slot for Kai a while back, it wasn't edited either. Once January rolls around, it'll be undeniable.

We'll have to see in January, I hope it's not the edited cut, but it really wouldn't make sense for them to show the same episode twice the same day if its the same cut. Unless they'll just show episode 1 again next week and have it become reruns again at 8 and not 11:30.

I find it funny that it would start at 8 which is around the time most of us will be watching the subbed of the new episode.

You're right, that is funny. That's why reruns and DVR exist and even then, the simulcast comes out at 8:15 for Crunchyroll and 8:30 for FUNi so it'll be there obviously when dub Super is over

I still wonder if Crunchyroll will switch their subs to Funi's scripts of Super instead of what they've been doing so far since we do have an official dub now.

If they did that, there would be no reason to buy the DVD/Blu Rays so its probable that they wont.

Except for the great subs we all know we'll get from Simmons on those releases
I'm very looking forward to that from Funimation along with owning the dub.

I think 8:00 PM is not too late for kids on Saturday. I remember I would stay up late as a kid to play video games on the weekends.

That's precisely what I meant, I was responding to someone who said "Lets put Simmon's scripts and translations" on Crunchyroll, and I said "If they do that no one will have any reason to buy the show" precisely because with the uncut dub being on TV and subs on Crunchyroll, the DVD's would be redundant...unless I misunderstood and no one suggested if. If that's so I'm sorry!
@Hellspawn: Yes! That time is terrific for kids!

I would love if more kids end up seeing it because of the timeslot honestly
The problem is, though, unless they promote it during Cartoon Network's hours, the only way they'll find it is by stumbling on it by accident
Or happening upon it on a TV schedule guide

Loads of kids already watch Adult Swim. More than any show on Disney XD or Nicktoons.
Let me see... AHA! Here it is!
Time PROGRAM Viewers (000) A1849 rating A1849 (000)
12:00a Dragon Ball Z Kai 1426 0.61 777
If this is correct then about...649.000 viewers below the age of 18 watch Toonami. That's more than can be said for Pokemon, Yokai Watch, and even big hits like Star Vs The Forces of Evil and Star Wars Rebels.
