November 11!? God, I hope that's accurate. There doesn't need to be an arbitrarily large number of months between these releases.

You've said it! I really hope that is not a typo and they just finish up these releases by early-mid '09 instead of late '09.

If Japan can pump out 2 dvds a month, I would think america could put out a box set every other month.

Well, you have to remember that FUNimation's catalogue is gynourmous. They don't want to flood the market.

They secretly want you to spend all your money of One Piece. 8)

I hope that date is correct. Then the bricks will be finished by mid 2009.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

Haha Funimation is too smart. Damnit, but this is good news :D. By calculations Season seven would come out Feb 19.

So in short:

DBZ season 6
DBZ movie tinpack 3/4
DBZ movie tinpack blu ray 3/4
16/9

DBZ season 7
DBGT season 1
DBZ movie tinpack 5/6
DBZ movie tinpack blu ray 5/6
11/11

There is only TWO MONTHS space between season 6 and 7. Damn that's cool. And another funny thing is that on 11 November Holland has it own 'Halloween'. So this 11/11 will be extra sweety for me Buhahaha jk lol.

Sadness on the GT push back; I was looking forward to re-watching GT. Yes I said it, I love GT. Yay for the small space between 6 and 7 though. Now if we could just see some cover art.

I'm thinking Season 7 to be maybe ... Great Saiyaman?

I feel the same way. I'm looking forward to the GT Seasons, but at least it and the next batch of stuff aren't TOO far away.

It's quite hilarious, I think, how Sparking METEOR managed to make GT so cool I'm willing to give it another chance.

Well that's good news, the releases for the season sets will finish in no time if that's how fast they'll come out. I'm looking forward to owning the whole series eventually, as I only have a few VHS tapes in terms of owning the show otherwise.

I'm also looking forward to owning DBGT, and hopefully there will be Dragon Ball seasons sets as soon as they get those 13 episodes, without widescreen preferably.

And now if they would do this even faster for One Piece...
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.

I just realised when I buy the GT set it might actually be the first time I see the entire series. Since FUNI screwed GT up so badly, and I'm not just talking the horrible rap music, I'm talking about editing the first 20 or so epiosdes into a re-cap. When I bought the first Volume, I swore up and down I bought the wrong volume, then I realised what they did. I was so dissapointed, never really liked GT after that. I even bought all the boxsets (except "LOST" episodes) which I still have never watched. So when this set comes out, I'm actually pumped for it because A. seeing it from start to finish for the first time B. actually hearing the real Japanese BGM, with English cast, and C. So far, not really been confirmed though, the lack of widescreen. I'll probably crop the series myself when I watch it using zoom wide fit, but it will be nice to have it in its original 4:3 ratio, so if I dont like watching it cropped, I can turn it back 4:3 which is what FUNI should have done with Z in the first place.

Yeah, last time I checked they were in the mid 30's with One Piece. But that was in early June.

Thanks for the up to date news. That means the boxsets after the Second Voyage should be getting bigger.
