It wasn't even mentioned in the show, and it was only a throwaway detail in the manga, so I doubt it'll be used. It would be fun, though.

I suppose Whis could dial it down a bit to suit them but then they could just train on their own in that case. And even if he does decide dial it down for everyone else then how long do they even have before this tournament starts after it's announced to everyone? He might not have enough time to train everyone individually.

Piccolo and Gohan should be fine, they're both way stronger than Vegeta was when he started his training atm and I think 17 and 18 could pull it off too. The humans don't have a prayer.

Everyone wantes the others too be involved but when they are many of you seem to be moaning.

Beerus does care but will never show. His universe is at stake so will try all he can to win. He is just saying that Goku is the number 1 fighter of his team.

I think Toriyama has made the right decision with Trunks and Goten as Tien and Roshi bring a balance to the team.

They are the 10 elites of Universe 7 not the 10 strongest.

A training camp would be brilliant and would bring many great interactions between the characters. I want the training to be at least 5 episodes.

Goku is his main asset and hasn't been training on his planet for a while of course naturally he's going to be more concerned about him then the others. But that also doesn't mean he doesn't care about who the other members are.

How he keeps focusing and wanting Goku around and basically treating it as it all rides on him. Though I guess I may have spoke too soon as the rules haven't made it so they need 10 people yet. So I suppose maybe he will take more interest in the others when that becomes clear.
