It already finished, the game works for me.

Been playing for the last 45 minutes. I got used to the controls.

Square - Weak Attack
Triangle - Strong Attack, and you can charge it.
Cirlce - Ki Blast
X - Jump
L1 - Block
L2 - Fly, shift forward
R1 - Lock On, still don't know how to use the scouter thing.
R2 - Brings up Supers command.
L2 + R2 - Brings up Ultimate Commands. Looks like we get more than one.

Teleport Counters (or whatever) is L1 + X and Ki charging is R2+ O. Makes a huge difference.

You can buy items, skills, costumes, etc. Can also send others stuff, I think. Characters can be leveled up and assigned stat points. Trying to get Kaioken lol.

None at the moment, you only get to choose Saiyan and a Namekian.

So.. How are the Ultimates? Are they like the ones in Raging Blast or are they just what the Shinku Hadouken is to the regular one?

You can get items and such when beating Parallel Missions. Also, I think the missions can branch because I did the one where you aid Raditz to beat Piccolo and Goku and for some reason Gohan popped up afterwards despite not doing so other times I tried.

Very excited to find out this is coming to steam. I'm not able to upgrade consoles anytime soon and I was dreading having to play a dumbed down 360 port.

Pretty much like the Super Kamehameha we've been seeing Goku do. Like SFIV, short and sweet.

I'm loving the beta, it's pretty cool. Slowly gaining experience and items and whatnot. Getting used to how the battle flows. Still don't know what to do with the money I've gotten, or the items I got. I've just been trying to get used to the controls. Been switching between my custom character "TurlesJr" and Vegeta.

The sound cuts out after a while though (in fights). Other than that, the battles have been interesting. The hitboxes still need major tweaks, trying land a combo from start to finish happens once in a while, especially in team battles. But hey... it's a test right?

How is it in the city, and does the test allow you to challenge other players to battle? Can you coop with others?

There's a booth for Player vs Player (teams), and another booth for Coop Missions.

Bandai Namco hasn't said anything about cross-platform multiplayer. The hardware manufacturers make it a bit difficult to do things like that with competing platforms, but a shared PS3 + PS4 and 360 + XB1 community could be possible. It's important to note that Bandai Namco hasn't used that feature on their PS3/Vita games, despite it being something Sony has encouraged. In fact, the only recent BN title I can think of that supports cross-play is last year's God Eater 2 on PSP and Vita.

As an aside, Injustice and Street Fighter players on 360 can't play with users on PC.

Dimps is a lot bigger than that. They've released five different games in 2014 and have at least 203 employees.

Do we have confirmation that Dimps is behind the PC port? While PS4/XB1 development means it wouldn't be a huge leap, given the company has never developed a PC game before, I'd encourage Bandai Namco to enlist in some outside help.
