I really don't see what the problem is with Vegetto vs. Brolly since this series is A) Non-cannon and B) Powering up other people too.

It's Broly. Sensible people are fucking tired of him always being magically on Gogeta's level. Plus there was that whole bit where they took a time-out from showing Broly being Broly for weeks of MORE BROLY YOU GUYS LOVE BROLY RIGHT

Well, I skipped the "movie 8" story, myself.

As for Brolly being magically stronger in DBM than he was in the movies, that's happening to a lot of characters too.

As for Brolly being magically stronger in DBM than he was in the movies, that's happening to a lot of characters too.

Yes, everyone's stronger, but the degree is very different. Broly being equal to Super Vegetto is like Krillin being able to fight end of Z Vegeta.

Well to be fair we don't know how strong this U09 Kuririn really is even though he did beat the snot out of Sauza with little effort. I am willing to bet that Kuririn by the end of the Cell saga could probably take on Sauza and win too. Who knows though, perhaps thanks to hard training that he may have recieved, U09 Kuririn may indeed be extremely strong and capable of going toe to toe with the "real" universe Goku or Vegeta.

That being said I already defended the issue of Broly being able to fight Vegetto in this story so I won't say anything more. Except I am obviously not a sensible person. ; )

Even if you don't agree with the "Broly gets stronger all the time" theory, its there. Who else can be on Vegetto's level? No one. He's too damn strong. At least Broly has a bit of an excuse, I'd say its the least "magical" of any character.

It's the most 'magical' because it's COMPLETELY MADE UP. Nothing EVER says "Broly gains power forever and evers" except Broly fanboys!

Vegetto versus that Ultimate Namek from way back when would've been fun and original, but nooo the authors just couldn't get away from BROLYTIMEZ.

It's been said pretty blantly this Broli is pretty different from the official character. DBM has never pretended the official Broli has this ability.


Judging from the personality interjected into the mini-comics and the like, I really don't think Salagir is taking this fan comic any more serious than Toriyama took his own.

Yeah there was a good minicomic where Salagir's character was pretty much murdered by the angry mob because he could not please all the fans. Here take a look. Still as much as I love ... like .... kinda tolerate Broly, and feel it is believable that he could get this strong, the story needs to get on with it and give us more original ideas. I am totally with Rocketman that I am looking forward to seeing the Super Namek fight and show us what he is made of. Hopefully against Vegetto, Son Goku or even one of the adult Gotenks!

P.S. Seriously though I am still enjoying this scene . . . I mean comic.

Forgive me for being off-topic, but... I love that Salagir is a Battle Angel Alita fan.

I'm kind of half-expecting/hoping that Vegito will end up owning Brolli in the end, if for no other reason than to quell all the fuss going on about Brolli's supapowazzz. Until then, though, I think I'm steering clear of this for now.

I love seeing the Goku come out in Vegetto's character at times like this. Still, I would also like to see some of his typical, Vegeta-esque, bravado in an upcoming panel as well.

I'm so bored.... What should be awesome as climax, when Brolli will be that much hardcore supa dupa powered up, that he will also destroy tha page of this fan.manga he's fighting with Vegetto on and there goes the end......

Art is great again, but Vegetto vs Brolli, that's the ultimate fight used for almost every game on PS2/3 (but there is Gogeta instead of Vegetto).
There was lot of nice ideas in that tournament, but this is pretty weak and uninteresting, for example that idea with that alien woman with yet-to-born fighter in her womb was a lot better and interesting idea then this last fight....

I wouldn't say I'm bored with this comic but I will be soon if they don't mix things up a little. It's one thing to match up two popular and very strong characters together to make things exciting but it's certainly another to to make the fight sequences fun or at least entertaining. Simple punches and ki blasts will not save this fight scene from becoming dull. This is a great opportunity for both writer and the artist to shine and really show the readers their talents. They need to come up with something new that we, Dragonball nerds, haven't seen before.
