My mistake, New Namek' destruction by Mira took place on Age 851, one year after Dragon Ball Xenoverse and one year before Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 events.

It can still happen. Just flashbacks. It's been two years anyway, so it'd be a good fill-in for what they were doing.

I guess lots of game sequels seem to place the events two years later... such as Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Any theoretical theories on that?

While there are notable exceptions to that rule, I suppose developers don't want to completely create new worlds to explore. It's time-saving to build upon previous assets and add choice original locations little by little. There's also the familiarity angle to be played with: You can change just enough and keep the game fresh, staying in the same generation or risk hoping everyone enjoys a changed environment enough by the in-game decades. There's an argument for both methods.

Yeah, in the Heroes trailers he's taking on SSJ4's in base. THEN he goes Super Saiyan 3 out of nowhere. Be afraid XD

Well considering SSJ Bardock is playable in XV by unlocking him in a PQ I'd say the chances are high.

could you imagine they actually make Time Breaker Bardock Goku and just completely blow away everyone's expectations. I mean I want Time Breaker Bardock in but I would just love if they flipped the script like that. Then we couldn't rely on Goku to be the hero either. Although 99% thhis wont happen

That would be amazing. Or there's two Masked Saiyans, one Bardock and the other Goku. That'd confuse our custom and Trunks sooooo much.

I really hope they don't overpower TB Bardock in this game like they did in Heroes. An Oozaru form for it would be all I'm willing to see of him. Not SS3.

Really? The Beerus part was probably my favourite bit of Xenoverse's story. The way he couldn't be controlled but there was a bit of tension coz his ears kept twitching and then he is like just come out Demigra I see you there. Things got a bit more meaningless after that but that part was great. We also got an alternate way for Beerus getting pissed off as Vegeta saved that pudding by going Super Saiyan lol.

Well in the last game he just kind of pissed off and said meh you can handle it. I get peoples gripe with Beerus being stronger than everyone else, but he never has stepped in to interfere yet. In BoG he was gonna destory the earth, in RoF he couldn't care less about Freeza (although Whis cared enough to rewind time) and in Xenoverse he didn't really care either leaving it to you. Sure Beerus is strongest but that doesn't mean he will just step in.

You won't have a lingerng thought, you'll KNOW he's stronger then everybody. Asidef rom the other GoD and their attendents he is the strongest character you'll see in the game, and that probably won't change for a while.

Also, regarding his scene with Demigra, that was unintentionally hilarious to me. "TIME TO DESTROY THE WO- Oh, and I see you there in the clown make up. You thought I was your bitchm but really you're mine"

Makes sense, the game did 3 million and only about 150ish thousand of those were Japan.

I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition for the PlayStation 4. I need that figure in my life.

I gotta hold off from playing the game when it comes out though. I got exams around that time and I need to focus. This is going to sound incredibly selfish... but I hope the game gets delayed so that it comes out after I have my exams.
