Not really since he was respectful of Future Trunks and praised Fat Buu' strength when Vegeta didn't want him. He only seems harsh on Piccolo for some reason. Also, when was it said that Toriyama view Gohan as a joke?

It's not Toei's nonsense. He just doesn't view Piccolo an interesting anymore. And he did invite Piccolo to train for the U6 tournament and it was Piccolo who turned him down.

Probably referencing how in Toriyama's interview with Toyotaro from the beginning of last year Toriyama was laughing about Gohan forgetting his gi.

It's possible that Toriyama will change DBZ ending? because even if we'll have a time skip after the tournament, Goku will go away with Ub, so....

I think that is impossible that this is the last saga.

Interesting theory, but I doubt it. Goku was cool with Piccolo in the Buu Saga and only started to throw him spades in the Champa Saga onward.

If you only read his words they could be seen as impersonal, but he's laughing about it according to the interview transcription, so I don't think "impersonal" fits.

Still that interview is one year old now, people trying to look at stuff like that as definitive statements are making a mistake. People don't work like that.

Yeah it will probably be implied they will be high. Honestly I hope to see Krillin vs King Piccolo, Nappa and Saiyan arc Vegeta and Goku vs Freezer, Cell and Kid Buu.
Imagine how epic it would be if Goku had hallucinations of Freezer killing Krillin, same with Krillin having hallucinations of Nappa killing his friends

I can't believe we have THIS many "filler" episodes! After all is done, it will have taken well over 2 months. Lol

I'm happy we're getting this many. The manga fell too far behind and thus its purpose as a promotional tool for the anime has been eliminated, or at least it will be until the Future Trunks arc is finished.

So relieved to hear Bra is finally coming, it was beyond a joke.

The dates in DBS have intentionally vague, so they work just fine. What's the issue? The only problem I can think of is Goku's excitement for Oob, which is a little bit of a stretch. Also, the birth dates of Pan and Bra are a little iffy now, but those dates were only from the guide-books to begin with, which we know aren't all that reliable when it comes to new content.

The thing with that is that EoZ is clearly written as though Kid Boo is the strongest guy Goku fights, not Beerus or Whis or Zamasu or anyone else that's coming up: Kid Boo, that's the last guy who gave Goku a good fight in 10 years and Oob is specifically reincarnated from Kid Boo so Goku can relive that glorious battle. Its a whole lot less glorious now that fucking Piccolo can probably beat up any version of Boo.

Why wouldn't he be excited to train and fight a boy who has the power of Majin Buu as his starting point? Because that whole segment isn't written as "Oh! Goku's excited to fight because Oob might potentially get that strong like Freeza did!" no, the manga is written as "Kid Boo was Goku's greatest battle and Oob can become that strong and Goku will help him to recapture old glory."

If Goku learned of Oob's potential five years prior to their battle and after all this God shit is over then made the reincarnation wish for Kid Boo to become Oob, you'd be right, but as it stands, the story treats Kid Boo as Goku's greatest fight and now he's worthless to him when he's got much more powerful opponents around.
