I hope we get to see the all powerful Whis fight for real sometime in the future of Super.

If Whis is to fight anyone seriously in the future, it has to be Vados. What a battle that would be.omaro34 wrote:I hope we get to see the all powerful Whis fight for real sometime in the future of Super.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
If they want to keep moving the plot forward in time past the point where Vegeta and Goku would be over 80 and they still want them to be the main characters they can easily just say "Oh, becoming Gods gave them eternal youth," or at least extended youth.Pannaliciour wrote:Hmm, saiyans are in their prime till the age of 80. That means Goku will become weaker and die someday even with god ki. Its a shame.
Though I'd rather a "Next Generation" thing in the future and Goku and Vegeta could be elderly sage types, kinda filling the role that Roshi had in the original Dragon Ball.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I don't think that would work. I would be much too difficult to deal with the deaths of the rest of the cast; even more difficult to make the whole cast immortal.ArchedThunder wrote:If they want to keep moving the plot forward in time past the point where Vegeta and Goku would be over 80 and they still want them to be the main characters they can easily just say "Oh, becoming Gods gave them eternal youth," or at least extended youth.Pannaliciour wrote:Hmm, saiyans are in their prime till the age of 80. I would love a "Next Generation", leaded by Pan (EoZ version). Or many years into the future a brand new character, who would participate in TB. Maybe bring plot elements from Dragon Ball Online.

A series with old geezers Goku and Vegeta? Amazing!

I'm expecting this manga to have a Tankobon release, and I wonder when it will be released.
It would be perfect if Toyotaro could draw one final chapter for his ROF arc, and include it as a bonus in the Tankobon.
The transition between BOG and Universe 6 would be much better, and we would already have 11 chapters for the first Volume to kick off.

I don't see why they'd even need to go anywhere near 80s. If anything that mention just suggests that we might see some timeskip to a redone end of Z or after it, since Goku and Vegeta wouldn't be any weaker for a long time. They could even jump to a point where Pan is 16 years old or something already and Goku and Vegeta still would be in their prime (although I don't think we'd see that before seeing a timeskip to a time period closer to the end of Z).ArchedThunder wrote:If they want to keep moving the plot forward in time past the point where Vegeta and Goku would be over 80 and they still want them to be the main characters they can easily just say "Oh, becoming Gods gave them eternal youth," or at least extended youth.Pannaliciour wrote:Hmm, saiyans are in their prime till the age of 80. I was just saying if they ever wanted to go that far in the story at what ever point in the future.Neon Z wrote:I don't see why they'd even need to go anywhere near 80s. It will probably won't get one, the Manga is promo for the anime, just like how Victory Mission was a promo for Heroes and to this day I don't think it has been collected. Honestly the Manga is all over the place, it wouldn't read that well collected together.FortuneSSJ wrote:I'm expecting this manga to have a Tankobon release, and I wonder when it will be released.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
My hopes aren't too high for it being collected (even though Dragon Ball SD of all thing is collected) that's why I make sure to import the VJump issues that have the chapters I want a personal copy of.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:It will probably won't get one, the Manga is promo for the anime, just like how Victory Mission was a promo for Heroes and to this day I don't think it has been collected. It would be great in a movie adaption but I'm not sure how it would turn out in Super's due to it's budget limitations.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Wait a second, considering Bra isn't born yet and everyone is still in their F outfit, this can't be too much after F. Meaning that the Earth Dragon Balls were used 4+ months ago and the Namekian Dragon Balls were used recently too (Piccolo/Kaioshins). So, doesn't this mean that both of those sets are inactive at this point in the story?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Super's animation quality has nothing to do with its budget. It's all about how much planning goes into each episode. And in Super's case, there has been little to no planning put in practically every so far. Hell, Super most likely never even had a pre-production stage before it started airing.sintzu wrote:Lord Beerus wrote:If Whis is to fight anyone seriously in the future, it has to be Vados. Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
There's absolutely no way to tell right now. Earth's Dragon Balls are certainly off the table regardless if they want to avoid a plothole, but Namek's orbs are another story entirely. Whether they will be active in the Hakaishin Champa Arc depends on how much time has passed and presumably how many wishes they use.Doctor. wrote:Wait a second, considering Bra isn't born yet and everyone is still in their F outfit, this can't be too much after F. The Namekian Dragon Ball reenergize after 130 days when all three wishes are used, and presumably after ~43 days when one is used or after ~86 when only two are used. Plotting out a general timeline of Super thus far. there is around a possible 5 month gap (~150 days) at maximum between Golden Freeza arriving on Earth and when Bra would have to be conceived to still be born in AGE 780. So there is plenty of time, in theory, for them to be available at full power without a contradiction.

Thats why I've been getting all the volumes. I fear we wont see on. I like having the manga version of atleast BOG. I might end up binding them myself similar to these.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:It will probably won't get one, the Manga is promo for the anime, just like how Victory Mission was a promo for Heroes and to this day I don't think it has been collected. Victory Mission is not a promo for an anime TV series. It has different characters in a different concept altogether.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:It will probably won't get one, the Manga is promo for the anime, just like how Victory Mission was a promo for Heroes and to this day I don't think it has been collected. If even Dragon Ball SD can get volumes, I don't see any reason for Super manga don't get too.
It does read well together. The only problem is the gap between BOG and Universe 6 arc, thus my solution.

-Just read F bomb group chapter 7 translation-
I guess I got too spoiled by Herms translation... At least, its worthy by the HQ scans and marketing.

I got it. That's why I just told him why Super manga is different and has more chances to have a tankobon release, than Victory Mission ever had.Sandubadear wrote:He meant that Victory Mission is a promo for Heroes (the game), which it is.
