If someone gets disqualified then there will be no replacement just like last time. It would be team universe 7's fault and they will have to carry on.

True a DQ probably wouldn't work. But who's to say Buu won't disrespect one of the Omni-kings or gods (they seem pretty ceremonial and proper in that image we got). Or even a bigger twist Vegeta starts a fight at the wrong time, Omni-king just poofs them out of existence. I could see them letting a replacement(s) come in if they went that route.

I'm pretty sure in an interview with Yamamuro about Resurrection F he was asked how he would feel about Cell coming back and he said he didn't want him to because his spots made him a pain to animate.
I don't expect Cell to move a whole lot in the episode anyways.

Getting ko'd by one punch by Goku won't be hard to animate at all. Can't have Gohan keep the right of being the one to beat him after all

The dates in DBS have intentionally vague, so they work just fine. What's the issue? The only problem I can think of is Goku's excitement for Oob, which is a little bit of a stretch. Also, the birth dates of Pan and Bra are a little iffy now, but those dates were only from the guide-books to begin with, which we know aren't all that reliable when it comes to new content.

Pan is 4 at the tournament so Goku and Bloomer shouldn't have even met in the Battle of Gods arc.

If they want to really match it with eoz, there are always Dragonballs to make everyone forget super's events happened..

After berrus sacrifices his life to save them, slowly burning away, he greets death smiling, thinking to himself how much earth has changed him, for him to do such a thing....

Goku tries desperately to revive him, but He can't be revived, no Dragonballs are strong enough to revive such a god now that super Dragonballs are gone in the conflict..
Grand priest offers to revive berrus in one condition, Earth can't remember this horrifying universal event.. As having mortals and god relation's line blurred is what had caused this catastrophe..

Dragonballs are used to remove everyones memories of berrus and his sacrifice..
They forget berrus and whis's existence even future trunks return..

They get to their normal lives, while berrus is the only one remembering everything as whis was inactive when he died..
Berrus slowly flies above earth, remembering the times he spent on earth, now that he is the god of destruction once again and his only "friends" don't know him anymore, he continues to live his life alone, not contacting earth ever again, silently protecting it form the shadows

There's one MAJOR problem with this though. Super would be basically pointless. Nothing that happened would have ANY meaning if this happened.

Honestly, I wouldn't care if Bra was never born. Most of the "newer generation" always seemed bland to me, anyway.

What kind of logic is this? What GT did with the characters is not going to be the same thing Super could theoretically do. We have no idea what these young characters could be like in a Toriyama directed series.

I still don't really have much interest in them. I can't imagine Toriyama making their characters worthwhile as kids unless he makes them a central character, which I honestly doubt will happen.

Bra had little screen time in GT, and it only made me dislike her, every scene just made her face look so punchable. Only aspect I enjoyed about her was how she made Vegeta her bitch.

To be fair, I personally think Beerus already has that aspect of Vegeta down pat, but with Bra, Vegeta probably won't have any REAL problem with it, unlike with Beerus.

Hopefully Bra is born before the tournament starts. I don't want to sit through pregnant Bulma for 20-30 episodes, assuming they're allowed to watch like the previous tournament.

Wait, didn't some animators (back in dbz) complain about animating (perfect) Cell was like a pain in tha ass? Curious how these current animators are going to handle Cell.

From the midpoint onward, it became routine for the enemies to transform.
It all started with Freeza. I didn't start out with any plans to have him transform of course, but midway through I thought it might be cool to make it look like a bluff and then have him transform for real. Probably at that point I also thought of giving him a sleek design in the end. I'm in the habit of giving characters progressively more complex and tough-looking forms, then finally making them really sleek. After all, it's awful drawing them once they get all complex. (laughs) Complex guys are terrible when you have to draw them for weeks on end… Cell was a ton of work, with those darn spots of his. (laughs)

Can we expect a Dragon Ball Resurrection ‘C’ movie, since Cell is the next Dragon Ball villain?
Yamamuro: (laughs) As an animator, I would not like that, since Cell's complicated design is really hard to draw. When he is standing still, it doesn't matter, but when he is moving, because of all the spots on his body, it takes so long to draw him every time. You have to calculate how he's going to move perfectly, and then you have to check and recheck the result every time. That's so much work!

If you meant these answers, neither individual is denying Cell's right to return. They just find it troublesome to draw it. Furthermore, both of these interviews were conducted after the Dragon Ball Z anime concluded.

Character Designer Yamamuro Tadayoshi said that the spots made Cell a pain to animate. More detail always makes something a pain to animate because you have to draw more sheets consistently, which consumes a lot of time and is frustrating. It's part of why Cell almost never moved well, outside of the less on-model episodes like those by Studio Cockpit.
