Episode 77's description claims that Bra will be born SOON. There has to be some sort of timeskip because of that. This makes me hope Goten, Trunks, and Maron will have aged.

Based on what? We haven't seen Chi-Chi, Videl, and Bulma sharing notes on their pregnancies.

The fact that we haven't heard of it makes it likely that that's not the case. I mean technically we could make head canon for anything that isn't shown. It's still head canon.

I guarantee you that not one writer involved with Dragon Ball is taking genetics into account when writing. I can assume that Saiyan pregnancy is the same as human pregnancy because there's literally no reason it shouldn't be. Why don't you assume that all Saiyans have a third arm und their hair? Same thing.

I guarantee you that not one writer involved with Dragon Ball is taking genetics into account when writing. I can assume that Saiyan pregnancy is the same as human pregnancy because there's literally no reason it shouldn't be. Why don't you assume that all Saiyans have a third arm und their hair? Toriyama already took genetics into account recently when writing about how Saiyans grow in Jaco and again when bringing up how Saiyans stay young until they're in their 80s in the Champa arc. Saiyans grow differently from humans, this is a fact, so pregnancy being different is not a stretch in the slightest.
And I never said I assume it is different, I'm saying it could be because we don't know any details about Saiyan pregnancy. That third arm bullshit is an awful comparison.

Um... no? I mean, I could find the quote if you want, but I'm pretty sure genetics weren't mentioned. Sure, they'd be implicitly involved, but that's it.

It has to do with genetics, so genetics were taken into account, saiyans age differently BECAUSE of genetics. If they decide to say that saiyan pregnancy works differently they wouldn't have to even say the word genetics, the word genetics doesn't have to be brought up for something to be about genetics. I really don't understand your deal.

The subs I see say newborn. Not really sure the version you quoted makes much difference.

If Uub is 6 years old then he hasn't just been born. If he'd just been born then he would be a newborn.

He obviously can't be a newborn since he's older than Pan, so that has to be an error in the script or a mistranslation of your subs

Future Trunks and Present Trunks are not the exact same person. Just like Future Bulma isn't the exact same person as Present Bulma or Black is the exact same person as Future Zamasu. As far as we know, Kid Trunks didn't get bigger because he didn't have the same struggles as Future Trunks since one grew up in Hell, while one grew up in peace. Future Trunks also trained a hell of a lot more than Present Trunks that effects growth.

Future Trunks and Present Trunks are not the exact same person. Just like Future Bulma isn't the exact same person as Present Bulma or Black is the exact same person as Future Zamasu. As far as we know, Kid Trunks didn't get bigger because he didn't have the same struggles as Future Trunks since one grew up in Hell, while one grew up in peace. Future Trunks also trained a hell of a lot more than Present Trunks that effects growth.

But he wouldn't know when Buu would be reborn. Toriyama described the rebirthing process being quick for Buu since he was so evil, while a being like Freeza has yet to be reborn. So Vegeta is at best guessing Uub's age since he wouldn't know that Buu was reborn almost as soon as he died.

Goku struggled, but it wasn't the same type of struggle as Future Trunks. Environment do effect growth in the real world. The same argument could be made why Gohan grew more normal compared to his younger brother who grows like his father. Gohan went through far more stuff than Goten, who also went through his own share of struggle, and it made him grow faster.
