How much did it set you back?
I was gonna get it for 9 Pounds on Amazon.co.uk, but chose a Trunks figure instead. :D
I love the Majin Vegeta figure. Looks great!

:D
Anytime, lol.
jordanator wrote:Hey, Raithos, you wouldn't have any links for the series where Teen Gohan is beside Goku with his hand out, would you?
Or even, any series, just around the same price as Mike's?
Lol, you probably feel like a shop owner.
Yeah but I enjoy this hobby at the moment so sharing some links isn't bad.
Hmm, I don't know what you mean, give me a picture and I could probably lock on to what your talking about with the Gohan hand out pose.
Edit: But you might be talking about the Bandai Real Works collection where the figures are 5 inches? That would be here:
http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid ... Categories, if not then show me a pic and I could most likely tell you what it is and where to get it.

As for series that are akin to Mike's, I say you start collecting the Bandai "Digital Grade" series. The figures range from about 3-5 inches and include impressive detail on a small scale. I really am in love with this line, and coming this December they're going to be releasing a SSJ3 Vegeta, can't wait to have that wonderful mini powerhouse on my desk while I'm reading for school. This line pretty much started 5 months ago so now's a great time to start collecting it.

Digital Grade:
@ HLJ: http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Word=drago ... 0DG&Dis=-2

@ Angolz: http://www.angolz.com/store/catalogsear ... de&x=0&y=0

@ Ebay- Cheapest sets I could find, and are all sellers I trust:
DG 1: http://cgi.ebay.com/DG-Dragonball-Z-Kai ... 53e3e8f248

DG 2: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0412232098

DG 3 (Pre order, December release): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... ESINDXX:IT

DG 3 Special SSJ3 Edition (Pre order, December release): http://cgi.ebay.com/Dragonball-Z-KAI-DG ... 1c15b77cf5

Main link with all sets: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=dragon ... m270.l1313
If you prefer, you can also buy single pieces from the set for about 6-8$.

Another line I also delved into was the High Grade line, the scale is the same as Digital Grade with a size roughly equal to 3-5 inches max, the detail is still impressive, and until Digital Grade was released these were some of the most detailed mini gashapon on the market. The line is incredibly successful as it ranges from 1-23, with about 6 special sets, including some extra sets as well. These sets run you about 15-30$, but when you start getting into the lower number sets you need to be careful. HG 10 can run you anywhere from 60-100$. I'm not about to pay 100$ for 10 Gashapon figures, lol. Anyway yeah I'd suggest the DG and HG lines.
(from the links I gave you earlier just search "dragonball HG" and you'll get results.
Ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=dragon ... m270.l1313

Also from Banpresto the HSCF (High Spec Coloring Figures), are pretty nice... The special collaboration edition of the set boasts the only official SSJ3 figure in existence at the moment, along with the only official SSJ3 Broly. I love these two figures personally and picked them up right away. The detailing and coloring on these figures is beautiful but watch out... especially when on ebay as these tend to be bootlegged to the extreme, and merchants tend to use stock art to display the figures and not actual pictures of the figure. The figures tend to run anywhere between 15-60$. The 60$ purchases usually include a set of four figures or so including shipping. And individual ones range from 15-20+ sometimes with free shipping or very low shipping.

I'll give you the links to SSJ3 Vegeta and Broly. These are legitimate and from a seller I trust. They'll be 24.99 for Broly (he upped the price D:, and 19.99 for Vegeta each with free shipping. These are Ebay centric.

SSJ3 Vegeta: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0435222103

SSJ3 Broly: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0452509976

Set: http://cgi.ebay.com/Banpresto-Dragonbal ... 1e5e687185.

If you're going to buy both SSJ3 Vegeta, and Broly I suggest you just get the set. That way You get a pretty nice HSCF Trunks, and SSJ3 Goku as well. You'd already be spending 45$, so better to just buy the set and get two more figures for basically 17$ extra.

HSCF on Ebay: http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trksid ... Categories

HSCF on HLJ (Hobby Link Japan): http://www.hlj.com/hljlist2/?Word=high% ... ure&Dis=-2

HSCF on Angolz: http://www.angolz.com/store/catalogsear ... cf&x=0&y=0, the thing about Angolz is they have amazing prices, I'm talkin' beautiful pricing, but the shipping kills me becuase they don't offer a super shipper saving option. I have two options: 21.00, or 35.00 for shipping... lol. So it tends to make me not want to go there. For you the shipping may be different so use their built in shipping calculator to see how much it would cost to ship to your exact location. I only buy from there if I'm going to get a set of something.

Ooooh, man! That's exactly the type of figure I'm after.
I know it's beautiful right? But get this, I spent 100$ on that. 45$ for the figure, 33$ to ship from Indonesia and 16$ Western Union money sending fee. I can safely say it's the first and last time I'll buy from an Indonesian forum, it was a good experience though and I made friends with the guy... too bad I can't afford the shipping lol.

Anyway, I'll provide you a link to the last Banpresto HQDX Trunks on Ebay... it's regular colour though and it'll run you about 80$ with shipping and everything. These figures are extremely rare now. My buddy AndreAnimeToys off Youtube got his for 25$ I hate the bastard, lol. There's another link but it's listed at 200$ plus shipping, and the seller is a fool to think they will ever sell that.

Lol, I know what you mean they look a tad odd from the pic, but in person the eyes really don't detract from the figure at all IMHO.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I believe he's referring to the Gohan figures in HG 17. Here's a reliable seller on ebay who has the set:

He's selling the set by variant however so you only get one Gohan and not both.

I know a department store near Coney Island that's practically giving these figures away. Last time I checked it was around $6-$8. But I'm sure they're probably a little bit cheaper now.

Wow, really, thanks a lot for the links Raithos, seriously. There's loads of good deals there! I'm thinking of collecting the digital grade figures. They seem to appeal to me the most.

As for the DX Trunks figure, it look great. It's a bit expensive, but I understand why, since it's rare and all.
The Gohan and Goku figure doing the Kamehameha on page 155 is the figure I'm looking for. I think it look's awesome. :D

No problem, oh yes definitely go for Digital Grade I love it.
That set is Imagination 1, easy to pick up and it should be around 20$.

For all toy lovers alike, Hobby Link Japan is having a 50% off shipping sale until October 15th! So that means cheap shipping, and you'll get your item in like 3 days! Go check it out!

My last DB purchase was Daizenshuu 2. It arrived today, sadly, WITHOUT the green banner at the bottom... :(

Oh yeah, I ordered Daizenshuu 5, too, so can't wait for that... ;) :D

It's from Banpresto's DX Vinyl figure line. It was released in series 4 alongside a Gogeta.

Here's a complete pictorial checklist of the line:
