Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Someone said that with the lightning Broly could have upgraded to LSSJ2!!!... Anyway I never considered Broly to be stupid he just wasnt a talker like Cell or Freeza.
Also being that his power just doubled, did he do it himself or was it a natural occurance?...If it was natural then do you suppose that Broly was already fighting at his maximum and now that maximum bar was just raised?

It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Salagir is a punkass buster if he wants me to believe that Vegetto can't do damage to somebody.Xyex wrote:Salagir's already explained that Brolly's 'battle damage' is just Gogeta Jr. taking artistic liberties.Broly doesnt look invulnerable to me,and that`s great,no more 1-hit kill.

Easy there Rocketman... Salagir only deserves compliments for his project. He entertains fans of Dragon Ball all around the world with a free high quality project, many years after the series ended.Rocketman wrote:Salagir is a punkass buster if he wants me to believe that Vegetto can't do damage to somebody.Xyex wrote:Salagir's already explained that Brolly's 'battle damage' is just Gogeta Jr. taking artistic liberties.Broly doesnt look invulnerable to me,and that`s great,no more 1-hit kill.

No, he is the "Legendary Super Saiyan" not the "Legendary Warrior" or whatever that means.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Salagir is doing a great job but saying that he only deserves praise is little to much. Every creator should get even a little criticism for his work. Nothing, no matter how great, is perfect. Except the statue of David or Shakespeare's Othello.rereboy wrote:Easy there Rocketman... Salagir only deserves compliments for his project. Really!? I always thought Othello needed more cowbell. Like Shakespeare, Salagir is not perfect . . . unlike Shakespeare he is not a playright in sixteenth century England.Scarz wrote:Salagir is doing a great job but saying that he only deserves praise is little to much. To someone who has a God Mode that means he can't be damaged? Sure, even Vegetto can't get around that. It'd be like saying Vegetto should be able to kill Garlic Jr., even though he's immortal, just because.Salagir is a punkass buster if he wants me to believe that Vegetto can't do damage to somebody.
I think the reason they used Brolly and not Garlic Jr. is because a true immortal can't die, so defeating him would be a bit more difficult than defeating Brolly.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I think that the reason they used Broly is that they are simply fan-wanking. As it has been stated before, this is a universe of their own creation and things fit their desires. There is no reason that couldn't be any other character given some deus ex machina power by the creators. They chose Broly, because they like Broly.Xyex wrote:I think the reason they used Brolly and not Garlic Jr. is because a true immortal can't die, so defeating him would be a bit more difficult than defeating Brolly.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Yes. Vegetto overpowered Buu's bullshit regeneration with a gesture and a shout, he can overpower Broly's bullshit shield.Xyex wrote:To someone who has a God Mode that means he can't be damaged?
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Vegetto's power is so great that it would overpower Garlic Jr's immortality, and make it useless.Xyex wrote:

And the same should apply to Broly.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He would probably turn Garlic Jr. into an immortal mass of meat and bones.
And whilst walking to work today, I thought it would be interesting to see a universe with Majin Ozotto =0 thoughts?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Well, technically, there could be already an universe with Majin Ozotto competing. He is a shape shifter after all.DNA wrote:He would probably turn Garlic Jr. into an immortal mass of meat and bones.

Now, wait a minute... Garlic Jr. is immortal... but...
Does it save him from being chopped to pieces, or get blown to smithereens?!
When I think of immortality, I think of living forever... but does it also mean having an indestructible body that can stand something even more powerful than an atomic bomb?!
Unless he got the Dues Ex Machina called "Regeneration" that we've seen with Cell, Boo and Yi Shen Long.

Whenever the Dragon Balls bring someone back from the dead, that someone has the damage to his/her body healed (Ex: Vegeta in Namek didn`t have a hole in his chest when he came back).SHINOBI-03 wrote:Now, wait a minute... Garlic Jr. is immortal... but...

So, in my opinion, if someone asked for immortality from the Dragon, everytime they died they would be instantly be brought back as those who were wished back were, being, therefore, incapable of dying and thus immortal.
Otherwise they wouldn`t be immortal. They would just be incapable of aging since they wouldn`t age but they could still die if someone destroyed their body. So they wouldn`t be immortal.
So, to be trully immortal, they would have to have either:
A) an indestructible body;
or
B) a destructible body that always gets back together whenever they "die".
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Well, Garlic Jr. seemed to be pretty much indestructible, he barely took any injury at all, I don't think he even bled once, so... immortality in Dragon Ball seems to mean that no harm can come to you, but I'm sure the living forever is also thrown there, if his body stops getting old, he can't die.

Gohan punched a hole clear through his abdomen in the Garlic Jr. Saga. It then simply sealed up.DNA wrote:Well, Garlic Jr. seemed to be pretty much indestructible, he barely took any injury at all, I don't think he even bled once, so... immortality in Dragon Ball seems to mean that no harm can come to you, but I'm sure the living forever is also thrown there, if his body stops getting old, he can't die.

Really? I thought "His power is maximum" line came from the second Broly film. Goten said it I think and it was probably the English funi dub. But I could be wrong.Metalwario64 wrote: This is where "Broly. His power is maximum" originated:
