Y'know, I'm okay with this. Xenoverse 2 already took measures to "canonize" the movies, this girl Broly is just 1 step further in that direction. I guess we can infer that all of the movies take place within other timelines, since they're now inserting those principles.

If it entertains me and then holds up after the fact, it's amounted to something. So far, the first tournament is the only one to meet that standard, even if it was kind of meh. I have hope that this will be an amazing ride, if nothing else.

True but it did so under the stupid notion it would make something out of that stuff with its production & writing team. It should've just been complete bonkers, Heroes-esque stuff like this from the word go.

I think the shots of the GoDs at the arena might be from an episode, they didn't really look like something from an OP, and the final shot of Goku looking excited looked like it was from an episode as well.
