Speaking of Spike's work, are they the ones doing the HD conversion and what not? Would explain so much, having to work on basically 3 games.

To be completely honest, it lacked all the energy that was found in the original, which would be the B3 opening theme.

Even though I find the intro ''Okay'' I definitely gotta agree with this.

Sounds a little Ska punk. It brings joy, as the Dragon Ball Z franchise does!

Guys, why would they add more content, like online or more characters? Aside from the remastering, they don't touch anything else on the games, except for the soundtrack for obvious reasons. The only new thing they added are the Japanese voices, right? I think they weren't an option originally?

I don't think there is a reason to release a demo for such a game.

There was a demo for the Orange Box which was an HD Collection of Valve games, so I don't see why not for this one.

- try the gameplay
- listen to the new music

If they do release the demo before the full games' out it might improve their sales with pre-orders.

It's always best to try out the game with a demo to see if it's worth it or not, just like last year with Ultimate Tenka....Oh, wait...

Console release of games that were PC-Exclusives up to that point. Very different situation. Plenty of ACTUAL HD Collections didn't have demos.

A demo for this isn't necessary. People already know what they're getting with this and if they're getting it or not.

They were on Budokai 3 Greatest Hits, which including the track became standard. The update is that we're getting them for Budokai 1; given that the PAL version already had it the first time around, as we all know, that would probably be an easy thing to throw in.

...The only issue now is whether or not Bamco does a re-translation of Budokai's Japanese...

^This.

Anyway, I hope they will release a Budokai HD Collection Vol. 2, having Budokai 2 & Infinite World. They could promote it with Budokai 2's animation, like they do now. And what would be even more awesome (and unlikely) would be having the DBZ2V! Yamhan, Gotan, Majin Boo with Yamcha & Tenshinhan/Freeza/Cell/Vegeta absorbed, Kuriza, and Freeza & Cell under Babidi's control.

I also wonder, will this get a release in Japan as well? How will it be called? Dragon Ball Z HD Collection?

So it's not even an update, since it was there in a version before.

I haven't yet bought Dragon Ball Ultimate Blast not because it's due to people giving bad feedback but I've not played it.

After playing Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit demo I bought the game, Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 1 bought it too and Dragon Ball: Raging Blast 2 also bought.

The demos can make the final decisions, though, this is pretty much nothing new, except HD graphics and the new soundtrack which could be great.

Edit: I'm still wondering if they left the violent cutscenes intact on Budokai 1 HD like Piccolo's Mankankosappo making a bloody hole on Raditz and Goku.

It's Dimps.

Count me in for this outing, although I'm not sure how I'll cope without the Yamamoto score. Maybe I'll have to have to find another $40 for this thing here:

Neither of those situations is a game that has been out for the last 10 years. You're talking about relatively recent games that haven't been played to death by most fans that got them in the early 2000s.

I've never played Budokai 1-3 or IW, so I might just buy them for PS2 and get the original music with it (Yamamoto).

I did buy once a copy of Budokai 1 but it wouldn't load the Story Mode or anything, returned it.

Also, what are the chances of Dimps actually finishing what they started. Y'know having a playable Bulma and Dragon Universes for all of the characters.

Looks like the game runs pretty good, and the models aren't as bad as I originally thought. Unfortunately we couldn't get a proper listen to the replacement track. Though, with time, I'm sure NamcoBandai will release captured footage with clear music.
