(And Goten's blue undershirt should actually be black, but it's anime so whatever.)

I didn't like JSAT one bit despite Toriyama's involvement so I'm not expecting too much from this as well. Plus there's this crappy Kai artstyle. Though it's better than nothing, I guess.

Nope, it's not at all. The fact that it's announced around a year before release shows that this isn't a movie they are just rushing out without any real thought. It would indicate to me that there is genuine effort going into this.

It doesn't have to be amazing for me. If it's anything like Trigun: Badlands Rumble, I will be happy. A fun, stand-alone return of the characters with much improvement on the visuals and a whole lot of action that's true to the original series.

If Toriyama's involvement allows them to do a little more than the norm with the characters, then that makes it all the more sweet!

A few people are mentioning how the characters are wearing the wrong outfits. Do you guys think they only have one outfit in their closets at a time? Can't they decide to wear whatever they want?

Though I still don't like Yamamuro's current style, I felt kinda relieved when I saw the artwork because the colors look nice. The color palettes on recent OAVs and cutscenes looked too soft to me.

Of course you can think that way, but I'm pretty sure it's just a mistake.

I don't think it is a mistake. They've just decided to depict the charatcers in their most well known outfits, and to add Goku's signature Kame School symbol on his unform.

I hate the thought that those brats of "Dragon Ball Hoshi" are going to be using clips of this new film and call it "New Dragon Ball Hoshi Episode ____" or "Dragon Ball Hoshi the Film".

Hair isn't an outfit. The special takes place at a specific time in the story, and, in that time, Kuririn has hair. That's a bit more consistent than changing clothes.

I'd prefer if Vegeta was in his Boo Arc outfit but it doesn't matter much to me.

Remember...when Goku went to Namek, Dr. Briefs supplied him with like 20 of the same dogi, so it's not like they wear the same dirty clothes for years. BUT, I would rather see the characters in the outfits they wore in the Buu saga. Also I wish the characters were colored the same way like back in the day. When they turned Super Saiyans colors changed from their skin to their clothes. I always liked that...but now it's just hair changing color.

Not that it's terribly on point, but it's worth mentioning that that's filler. In the manga, Goku pulls one dogi from Kaio out of a bag.

Whether it's intentional or not, personally I don't like Goku's new dougi. It's low-cut and the obi is wide, so there's only little space around the Go symbol. The symbol looks much nicer on the older dougi.

Originally DB characters tend to be wearing new clothes rather than the ones before or mixing them.

Goku's new uniform looks strange mixing two of his previous outfits, but we'll get used to it soon. It doesn't look that bad in fact.

The best thing about getting a big bit of news like this, is I could spend hours just reading all of the speculation that goes on here. (That's not sarcasm...I mean it.)

Still, it's funny how people are saying "if" FUNi releases this here and are having doubts. I think this is completely different from a jump special or a short 30-minute deal that came with a video game. This is a new, full-length, theatrical feature. I wouldn't be surprised if we had it by Christmas next year. The FMA:B film came out in Japanese theaters June last year, and we had it on DVD by April.
