Well, that's because Goku is cool and Gohan is a trash character.

Gotenks isn't stronger than Goku, and Gohan is barely stronger than Gotenks. I'd say they all are around the same area, with the edge to Goku - because I'm biased.

I never said he was stronger, just equal, and I changed my power levels so they aren't anymore. He's still somewhat close though. That's still far more believable than SSJ3 Goku being stronger than Super Buu though :| .

Wait, did Axiom just say he thinks Super is stronger than Pure? I mean earlier he said "you have me beat" so I assume so, but then he also has Goku stronger than Gohan. How does that work!?

Anyway, Gotenks is well over twice as strong as Goku. It's only stated half a dozen times.

It doesn't. By his own admission he said he believed Goku > Gohan + Gotenks, then made his own power level list that said

Well if you go by the Super Exciting guide multipliers then your list doesn't make sense.

You have

SSJ Gotenks (post) 1.5
SSJ3 Goku 8
SSJ3 Gotenks 8

Gotenks at 8 disregards the SEG multipliers

SEG

SSJ= 50x Base
SSJ2=100x base/2x SSJ
SSJ3=400x base/4x SSJ2/8x SSJ

If you have SSJ3 Goku at 8 and SSJ post Gotenks at 1.5, then it's impossible for SSJ3 Gotenks to be 8. (8*1.5=12) So Gotenks on your condensed list would be a 12 with SSJ3 Goku at 8. But if you disregard the SEG multipliers then your list works for you I guess.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Even assuming Gotenks gets different multipliers, that list wouldn't make sense, since Gohan is supposed to leave Gotenks in the dust, power wise.

I still reckon Gotenks is close to SSJ2 Majin Vegeta. He is the only character to escape Fat Boo's wrath. With the exception of Goku using his hax teleport. Doesn't Vegeta say he wouldn't be able to escape with the current power difference? And a SSJ Gohan didn't escape either. So Base Gotenks must, at least, be above SSJ Gohan..
