Are you referring to DBZ or Gurren on the 2nd sentence? still we have an interview of akira confirming that the DBZ universe is limitless and ever expanding.

not much of a fanwank when Toriyama states that the Dragonball universe is limitless and ever expanding. Vegetto states this universe will be crushed by alternate dimensions. I doubt the alternate dimensions, would remain unaffected, when they collapse in to this verse. hence it is multiversal. eitherway limitless. if there is a made up term by fanboys that doesn't get mentioned as a statement in the dbz verse than it is the word "chain reaction"

"Multiverse" in Dragon Ball no longer means the same as it does in Dragon Ball Multiverse. The newly introduced multiverse concept never has the other 11 universes stated to be alternate dimensions to my knowledge. So, all they meant were the actual alternate dimensions that would become unstable in Universe 7, like the the alternate timelines, the RoSaT or Sugoroku Space.

I know Dragon Ball has a Multiverse, but it was only stated Buu's scream was only going to destroy the universe. Nothing states the Multiverse would be destroy a long with it.

Are you implying the other alternate dimensions would be unaffected when they crash in into universe 7? which itself is confirmed to be a limitless universe. meaning greater than a Multiverse with known boundaries.

Those are dimensions, not universes. Other world, The Room of Spirit and Time and Deadzone are not universes. There is a difference between dimensions and universes since they are not the same.
