Interesting that the very beginning part is exactly the same as the Japanese next-episode preview. Guess they only changed the part recognizable as the international edition's ending theme.kei17 wrote:Credit goes to DongHyun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyaenWaEkIcDBZ_Lee wrote:I don't suppose you know what the Next Episode Preview music is, do you?.

Which version are you referring to when you say "our version"?DBZ_Lee wrote:This week's Episode of "The Final Chapters" will cover at least up until some point in Dragon Ball Z #209, as in the NEP it shows a scene with C-18 from that episode, I wonder how far in it will go?. I'm very impressed so far with our version, and am really liking what I've seen thus far, along with the score.

I think it could depend on the actual time slot.
By the way, what is this Internet Television you speak of?

Re: The International (/Korean) Version of the Buu-Kai Arc
Does anyone else think that the Japanese version of the Buu arc is really no different than Funimation's 1996-1998 dub of Dragon Ball Z? I mean, think about it. Loads of editing for time in which the episode count is significantly decreased. Complete replacement of theme songs among other changes to the music. The only differences are that it's in Japan, and the music is only switched around, not completely replaced. So, Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go is the Rock the Dragon of Japan. The difference is one is singing and the other is screaming.

Well, the acting doesn't suck, the characterisation and basic dialogue isn't changed and the editing isn't for censorship reasons, it's the whole point of Kai. So no, I'm not really with you on that.Valerius Dover wrote:Does anyone else think that the Japanese version of the Buu arc is really no different than Funimation's 1996-1998 dub of Dragon Ball Z? One is a new version of an old show and the other is a butchered mess masquerading as the same show.

I just think it's a bit hilarious in hindsight that that's the first thing I think of, and how it's kind of the other way around.

DongHyun and DBZ_Lee
I know most voices changed from Z to Kai due to a number of reasons. However are the voices different from the first portions of Kai? For example here's Vegeta's Korean Kai voice.

And here's a better quality version

Is it changed in The Final Chapters aka The Boo Arc?
