And that's all she wrote. I've finished watching the series in Japanese.
Final thoughts on GT. I definitely made it out to be the worst thing ever, and it wasn't even that bad. It was an interesting ride. It was very Goku focused to say the least.
Goku as a SSJ4 is interesting to watch. Cocky and straightforward. He's like a watered down Vegeta. Guess his rationale really becomes more Saiyan-like in that form.
The last two episodes were great in my opinion. The dark setting, and the hero's comeback I thought was pretty damn good. And the ending, was touching. Not really sure what happened to the Dragon Balls... or Goku... and I really enjoy that. The OST was placed really well throughout the last two episodes, the timing felt right. Normally it's whatever.
What's next? The movies? Whenever I get the chance, I'll watch the DB movies, Z movies and A Heroes Legacy in japanese and update this thread. Until then, thanks for keeping up with me guys! It's been fun!

Blue Velvet is an amazing song.
GT, I have never fully watched it, I haven't seen the 17 arc in it, but it's just.... eh.
I would love to see how you would rate the series comparitively. Out of 10.

My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Out of 10...? Maybe a 6. There's a lot of bad in it, but the good outweigh it. There's some things they handled better than Z that I really appreciate like Piccolo's death, or Vegeta's resolve before the final stand against Omega (I still call him that...).

That ending still chokes me up! It took my second time around to understand what they were saying about Goku in the end. The comments on SSJ4 Goku are actually spot on in my opinion and I think it works. There is just something about Goku being a cocky fighter that makes me chuckle a little. Glad to hear you enjoyed it and kudos sir for giving the series a chance!DarkPrince_92 wrote:And that's all she wrote. I've finished watching the series in Japanese.

Going on hiatus. Too much stuff in RL to deal with for me to keep up with posts here for now. Was fun, hope you all have a nice day and future! Volt signing off.
