Nope.
No, my fanfic takes place after EoZ and only uses characters from the manga and the first three arcs of Super (and my own characters, obviously). I had to cut it off there for convenience, so no Zamasu arc, but the Champa arc did happen. What happened between that and EoZ is explained during the story. My point is that the movie characters, such as Cooler and Broly, don't exist in my fanfic.

When it comes to fan-made DB, I stick to the Doujin comic format. Multiverse, Toyble's AF, and pretty much anything Young Jijii puts out. Dragon Ball just isn't Dragon Ball for me without the Toriyama-esque drawings.

I do keep up with this thread though, lots of interesting ideas afloat.

No. I've read fics where his portrayal was more sympathetic, and was shown to be smarter and kinder than shown in the canon series, as in Point of No Return by niteryde, but still evil.

Quick question, due to reveal of the Mafuba being more useful than intended, I'm trying to come up with more abilities based on sealing. Does anyone have any ideas?

After Arlia, Vegeta and Nappa discuss the remaining Saiyans, and mull over whether or not to get one to replace Raditz:

"Hmmph...without Raditz, this mission to Earth may be more...difficult," remarked Nappa, as he and the prince rocketed away from what remained of Arlia in their Attack Balls.
"And who would help us?" questioned Vegeta.
"There's a few other Saiyans besides us and Kakarrot left, right?"
"Yes, but they're all weak, annoying, creepy, or some combination thereof."
"There's Tarble-"
Vegeta interrupted him. "He falls under 'weak' and 'annoying."
"Turles?"
"Falls under 'creepy'."
"Onio?"
"Again, weak and annoying."
"There's gotta be someone else besides them!" exclaimed Nappa.
"Face it, Nappa. It's down to me, you, Kakarrot, Kakarrot's brat, Turles, Onio, and...Tarble. And for all we know, Tarble got himself killed over the years. Turles is off with his band of pirates. Onio...I have no clue where that guy is. I only know he's alive because Raditz mentioned bumping into him once."
"So...basically, we're going in alone?"
"There's always the Saibamen."
"Fair enough. The little guys have grown on me over the years!" Nappa chuckled at his remark.

I'd move it to some time after the EoZ and add in more character development. That's about it for me.

AAAAH I was just thinking of doing this after I watched Resurrection 'F'. I'd revamp Goku's personality to match the end of the film. So SPOILERS he'd go Blue in the Hit match and the first Goku Black fight ASAP. Black would escape in the latter, though. That's just a couple of examples, of course.

I already remade F but here are some ideas I have for U6 without going back and changing everything from BoG to this point.

1. The twin universes concept wouldn't exist. Champa and Vados would look and act completely different from Beerus and Whis, my current idea for Champa would be a compulsive gambler & collector who visits his fellow G.O.D. every so often for challenges where they bet on different things from jewels to food to entire species, the winners of this challenge, a cross universe tournament, would get the Super DBs.

2. The actual U6 tournament fighting place is a dinky little Budokai arena in the middle of a boring wasteland, I don't need to explain why this is boring as piss. To let the characters fight in more interesting places, they would fight in a vacant Solar System with each match transporting them to a random planet within said system. These locals would range from volcano planets to poisonous jungles to "inverted" planets where everything is backwards, so if you wanted to fly up, you'd have to go down. Random rules would also get put in place so one fight neither opponent is allowed to fly, in another, they can't use any powers up.These and other stage hazards would visually spice up the fighting and add an element of strategy to the matches.

3. No more golden Super Saiyan forms. I'd operate on the movies power levels, meaning Base Saiyan's are SSGod level and SSBlue is somewhat above that, no other transformations would exist.

4. Boo and Piccolo would actually get to fight. Boo's move set is too varied and interesting to simply have him get kicked out over a dumb gag and Piccolo would get back to training after he failed to even beat some random bull grunt of Freeza's. He'd be nowhere near Goku & Vegeta still but for the sake of him being somewhat viable in combat, I'd give him a hefty power boost.

5. Frost could go one of two ways. Either get cut entirely since Freeza just came back or he'd remain a good guy, not sure. Cabba would also get altered from a young rookie to an older fighter and U6 Saiyan's would have no transformations, they'd instead simply operate like Ultimate Gohan, a lot of potential but no transformations to speak of.

6. Hit vs Goku wouldn't have Goku bringing back KK, instead, he'd have to adapt to Hit's Time Skip (which he can adjust already and not ridiculously improve on the spot) and would have to use IT and his own wits to keep up with him and win instead of doing the tired Z thing of powering up to make the battle a total joke.
