Less than a month out until this series debuts and all we have is tiny, blurry sketches of two possible character designs, and a logo. What in Dragon Ball has there been this much secrecy involved? Everything since the internet and Dragon Ball's popularity have coincided has had pretty much everything leaked months prior. This thing must be outrageous; it's clear the TOEIyama camp is keeping their cards close to their chest... and for that I'm grateful. I think I might go dark once it releases until I can see it for myself. I already know everything about Fukkatsu no F, which I'm not too happy about.

With GT, I'm pretty sure we had nothing until the week before it aired. There was a preview attached to the last episode of Z, and I think Toriyama's concept art of Goku, Pan, and Trunks was printed in WSJ, and that was it.

I'm hoping V-Jump leaks next Monday, which isn't completely out of the realms of possibility, leaks can occur 4-5 days early.

V-Jump releases on the 21st every month and next Monday is only the 15th. Realistically we should expect it in the 2-3 day range, but DB content from the magazine has been leaking earlier than that because the news isn't just about games anymore. Honestly, I think Tuesday would be more likely (go figure, because Tuesday is always news day anymore).

Though it could drop on Monday if Mike records a podcast. News always drops right after they record for a podcast, so that he has to go back and splice the info in (if it's big enough).

I said Monday because V-Jump is released on the 20th this month (21st falls on a Sunday).

I would have to agree that it's more likely for Tuesday anyway, but Monday isn't completely out of the question.

That's really the only issue I have with the logo. I'm OCD on things like this, and without the distortion of the "超", it just looks lopsided. I'd push the "超" over to the right a bit too, since there's always been a small gap between the title and the "Z". It could be worse, though. Like having all new lettering that is completely out of proportion, like with the UT Vols' new lettering...

It's referencing the "Odaiba Dream Continent" collaboration taking place from mid-July to August (which itself is being referenced/revealed this week in WSJ as a part of the air date announcement).

The problem I have with it is that the "DragonBall" part is so recognizable as part of the Z logo, it's distracting and doesn't look right. It actually looks like the fake fan made logo that was floating around just after they announced Super. I wonder if TOEI is taking ideas from fan art? Fans also made blue SSG art, and then they used it. I hope they don't watch Absalon

That does look better, but the cut and paste from the Z logo still bothers me.

If the Super letter was Blue it would go with how Ssj has evolved throughout the story.

Hey, this is Toriyama we're talking about, while he may invent genius characters and an exiting story, there will always be inconsistencies and plot holes since he always forgets things.

I know Toriyama has his own way of writing stories which I love but I feel like someone needs to overlook his work and help with his forgetfulness :p

Contrary to popular belief (for.. some reason), I don't really think Toriyama's work even has that many plot holes, like 2 or 3 sure, but that's to be expected with a 520 chapter manga, various other works have more. It does have a lot of contradictions and inconsistencies, though.
