Piccolo is a conundrum when you really think about it. He is more popular than everyone bar the saiyans on the team. Android 17 isn't more popular than him, he just hasn't been seen in so look that he is getting hype. Krillin isn't either.
Piccolo is definitely in 5th place for power, unless 17 has been working out. Piccolo also has an ability to gain power better than all the non saiyans on the team (at least from what we have seen). Toriyama probably likes Piccolo more than everyone bar Goku. Piccolo hasn't done the best fight wise, but he does indeed get inclusion in every arc regardless of that. In the anime piccolo always looking out for everyone. He bring Gohan back to life, and dies for him. He tries to save Goku after Hit kills him. He willing to teach Goku the mafuba. Piccolo will always try in a fight. He is a bro who gets treated like a bitch, and that's messed up.

Tien would probably be the same case if he got more screen time. Tien and Piccolo prove that hard work ain't shit.Goku, Vegeta, Tien, and Piccolo are the true warriors. They live for it. They love it, and when they get good fights. They get really good fights. It probably why people have so much trouble believing Tien is weaker than Krillin. Tien lives for the craft of martial arts. He puts in work every day. I like Krillin way more than Tien, but I have to respect Tien's credo.
I'd say Tien probably puts in more work than Piccolo, but at the end of the day Humans ain't shit compared to namekians and namekians ain' shit compared to saiyans, and that get to me a lot because it reminds me of real life. But it's ok in the end because at the end of the day those two don't fight to be the strongest, they fight for themselves, and even if they get shafted, the spirit of the warrior in them will never break. Damn I never knew I liked Piccolo, so much until I wrote this.

This arc could make a great reason as to why Whis is training Goku and Vegeta, maybe Whis knew something was bound to happen, that there was something in motion regarding Zeno and the other angels and his dad, I just dont think the reason as to why he's training them is for food, Beerus did ask this of Whis, he even thought that Whis was training them to fight him.

Maybe the other angels wanted him to be apart of it, but he and some other angels didnt like the idea, and was preparing for the day it happens hence trains Goku and Vegeta, maybe he saw potential in them.

Good buy dosen't have his evil counterpart in him, that's all the difference there is, but that's a big difference because of uub..
They both separated, it's like piccolo and kami fusion, piccolo looks the same as before but it's different..

Boo may create another Evil Boo if specific circumstances are met. The extraction of evil isn't permanent if one doesn't work to keep it permanent. Yes, the Boo you referenced was reincarnated as Oob. He holds no influence towards Boo creating a new Evil Boo. God & Piccolo's separation, while similar, functions separately. Their lives are directly connected, among multiple factors. Re-merging "corrected, so to speak, their dual existence. Boo & Evil Boo were capable of independence from each other all along.

All the 10 characters in the poster will be fighting. They even hinted team combinations and one of the producers (I think?) was excited at the idea of 17 and Buu fighting, and also said there are going to be many battles.

Probably Gohan won't go to the fight with U9, but after it gets destroyed (it's heavily implied) and the super cast gets to know the stakes, then he'll fight for sure.

Re-watching the trailer again, and it looks like U9 is the Universe of the Gimli Hakaishin, he didnt show up in the trailer, and his "Angel" looked exactly like the Fox Hakaishins.

I think it would be cool if each Universe's strongest fighter must fight the other Universe's GoD to win the round after they defeat the other fights. Like if U7 beats U9's team of fighter, Goku must fight U9's GoD and Angel to go to the next round.
