I imagine it will be more like how people freaked out that the Jump preview for episode 75 didn't mention Cell and were cursing Toei for excluding him from the episode... and then he was in the episode.
This preview says "Slightly injured" right after saying he has no problem taking them down, for all we know it could be a simple scrape, broken nail or even a stubbed toe and he's using it as an excuse to train with Whis.
This fanbase loves to jump to conclusions.

Goku is not superman, he dose not have a any natural invulnerability. If he dose not focus his ki into protecting his body then he can get scratched or laser beamed through the heart.

This episode is written by the guy who did most of the future trunks arc. this writer clearly knows goku should tank every bullet, yet he decides that him getting injured by robbers is a good idea.
i can't believe this arc is starting off with such garbage writing.

After that in the manga every time someone was shot for comedic purposes it would love bullet holes in their heads that were leaking blood.
Don't use gag scenes from Dragon Ball for examples of what the characters are capable of.

This isn't really about power levels as Goku tanked bullets as a kid before he even learned ki, this is just straight up forgetting things

Why does this anime keep doing this? Just reinforcing my opinion that the manga is better?
