Well if you want figures with good articulation and durability you should try S.H.Figuarts. They're a bit pricey for figures but they're totally worth it. Unfortunately only three figures have been released in the DB line; Piccolo, Goku, and Gohan.

Thanks for answering.
Psst! You, yes you. Come here.

Buy the S.H. Figuarts. NOW.

No but really, the figuarts are great. Good posability, sturdy, interchangeable parts... I love'em.

I have a few figures from the Figuarts brand, and they are fantastic.
I've yet to buy any of the DB figures, though, but I will at some point.
I doubt this will ever happen - but I'd love to see them make some of the female characters. Like ChiChi, Bulma or (nevergonnahappen) Zangya.

And some more toys ^^

The Gohan is a little bit of a custom, I swapped his gi out. Haven't figured out a nice way to opaque the purple but keep the texture of the sculpt.

Some more figures I got today.

Lunch, made by Giant Ape. You can't tell due to this crappy camera, but she has a great face sculpt. She's also pretty well articulated, though it’s quite difficult to get her to stand by herself – so I just lean her against the background. She’s a great little figure, though. I hope to get the Mai and Yamcha from this series also.

Stuff she comes with – a wanted poster on a signpost, two guns, the background and bag (which is full of money – couldn’t get a good picture of it opened).

Fell in love with the DWC figures, will definitely be buying some more of these.

I’ve got like, 10 or so doujinshi coming too, as well as some cards. Went a little nuts with the buying ... eh, whatever. I'll just call them early Christmas gifts to myself.

There's a stall usually at every MCM Expo that sells a lot of Dragon Ball stuff, I usually find a few things for my collection every time.
I've also spotted the same guy who runs it at the London Film and Comic Con. I hope they also go to Collectormania London this month.

My last purchases were the HG series 2 Yamcha and Puar gashapon, Raging Blast 2 and the Kame version headphones.

Went to Books-a-Million and picked up DBZ VIZBig volume 9. I actually saw a couple of kids looking at it. I also saw that there were several copies of it. Normally at my Books-a-million they only get one copy in stock at a time, but whatever. This is actually my first time reading the Boo saga, and it's really great. The only part I don't like is when they get a second set of Potaras, and instead of holding on to them because they don't want to use them, they crush them. I thought that was really stupid.

You need to remember that Kid Buu was a much more suitable opponent for Goku and Vegeta than Super Buu, Gohan-buu or Gotenks-Buu. Kid Buu was not out of their league (at least he was not out of Goku`s league).

Since the Potara are permanent, they didn`t want to be stuck together unless they absolutely had to, and since Kid Buu was not out of their league they risked it.

Besides, you also have to think like a Sayan here. Sayans like hard battles (even if they are risking the lives of others) as long as they think they have a shot of winning. And they had one with Kid Buu, unlike with the other Buus.
In fact, if Goku had been able to fully charge his SSJ3, he would have been able to destroy Kid Buu (with Vegeta`s help in distracting him). Unfortunately, he simply didn`t predict it would be much more difficult to do it while being alive.

And then later on Goku realizes, they should have used the potara anyways, even though that does mean, they would be stuck together forever

He said that maybe they should have used the Potara because Kid Buu was proving to be a more formidable opponent than he initially thought, not because of his power, but because no matter what he did, Kid Buu`s ki never went down at all, and because of that, he would have to charge his Ki as a SSJ3 to get enough power to destroy him, something that Kid Buu would never allow him to do since he required a whole minute.

Goku was simply not inflicting any lasting damage on Kid Buu with his attacks because of his regeneration and because of his seemingly infinite stamina. That was the problem, not Kid Buu`s power/strength.

However, as he was talking about the potara he also said that if he would be able to charge his SSJ3 he would kill Kid Buu. He only mentioned the Potara because he thought he wouldn`t have a chance to fully charge his SSJ3, but then Vegeta said he would give Goku the necessary time.

Hey hey, I wasn't talking about his power, I was just pointing it out, that Goku later on retracts his statement, that they won't need the potara. :P
