I understood that, I was merely pointing out that Goku said that about the potara because he thought he wouldn`t have a chance to charge his SSJ3 for a whole minute (which was what he needed to finish Kid Buu).

Being unable to do so, and that being the only way he could think of to kill Kid Buu at that moment, since his attacks weren`t wearing out Kid Buu at all because of his abnormal stamina and regeneration, the potara would have been really useful, and this is what he regrets and states. Not that he wouldn`t be able to kill Kid Buu without the potara, just that he wouldn`t have the opportunity to do what he needed to finish him by himself, so the potara would have been useful.

But then Vegeta says that he will give Goku that minute, so it all becomes a non issue.

Of course, then Goku realizes that he can`t charge his SSJ3 while being alive, which he didn`t predict at all and caught him by surprise. So, he could again regret not having the potara but fortunately Vegeta came up with the alternative plan of the Genki Dama. And the rest is history.

So yeah, they actually didn`t need the potara like they said, even though they had more trouble than they thought they would have because of Kid Buu`s stamina and regeneration. They wouldn`t even need the Genki Dama if Goku had been able to fully charge his SSJ3.

But enough offtopic

What I meant was they should've kept them just in case. They've underestimated foes way too many times.

I own that statue too.
I bought it along with the corresponding Monkey D. Luffy statue in London last month.
They look awesome together!

My most recent purchase however is Dragon Ball Kai - Blu-Ray box set 4.
Those things are proving to be very costly!

Just ordered the DBox 2 and 3 off of Borders for $34 a pop(Including shipping tax, etc).

Though...I think I did a bad thing. I used a promo code with my account...then logged out and used it again for Dbox 4 as a guest....

Pro-ordered Dragon Ball - Curse of the Blood Rubies yesterday for about £9.

I've only seen it uncut once, and only once cut, but I have the cut version twice.

My most recent purchase was the vol.1 of Dragon Ball manga portuguese edition by Planeta DeAgostini, and of course the next ones will be the 2nd and 3rd volumes.

The BrolyXPiccolo was a gift. It's quite amusing, I've never seen that pairing before.
I also ordered some volumes of HEAD-CHA-LA, but they haven’t arrived yet.

EDIT: Just bought DragonBall Bôken (Adventure) Special. Found it fairy cheap, so I had to snap it up.

Warped minds of Dragon Ball fandom, obviously.

The ones with Goku and Piccolo or with the GT teens? Because I'm always looking for those about the teens of GT (Bra, Marron, etc).
