Wow, Kubo's Vegeta looks like Kazuya from Tekken.

I feel like Tekken was always inspired by DBZ, especially with that and other similar character like Jack-#16, Lee Chaolan-Trunks, Wang-Roshi etc. Apparently Lars is like Goku because of the hair or something?

I agree, I get a DBZ-vibe from the series too.

Also, a lot of things in Naruto remind me of Tekken, and apparently Lars even shows up in a Naruto game.

Lars showed up in Ninja Storm 2 because Kishimoto designed his special third outfit. A few characters had special third outfits such as Jin, Zafina, Lili, and Kazuya.



I guess as a thank you, Namco included Lars in Ninja Storm 2 in the outfit Kishimoto designed.



Ironic really because he's arguably the best character in the game.

If the Tekken writers wrote DB it would have a lot more angst. Grandpa Gohan believes Goku is worthless and throws him off a cliff, while adopting Kuririn to be his heir. Goku sells his soul to gather the Saiyan gene, and uses that gene to win the Tenkaichi Budokai.
