I suppose that's probable. I doubt that you wouldn't be able to play it with the "classic" controller.

Why would one want to though? If you're going to buy a Wii it'll be mainly be to use the new controller. Not to just plug in your old Gamecube controller (which is possible) and use that.

That said, the players all seemed to forget that basic attacking is handled by the B-button, and NOT by pretending to be boxing... or playing Samba de Amigo.

 You can use your old Gamecube controllers?

Well, aye, the Wii does come equipped with 4 Gamecube controller slots, 2 Gamecube memory card slots and Gamecube backwards compatability.

No, it'll be mainly to play Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Metal Slug Collection.

I think an option to use one or the other would be a great thing for any Wii games that are ports from other systems, or cross-system releases.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

The Uk web shop Play.com has it set for a UK release on the 27/10/2006, and it has this to say about Sparking NEO

http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/ ... oduct.html

Team up with up to two other Z-Warriors to complete exciting missions ripped right from the TV show

Post customisable character codes to the Internet

Over 100 DBZ warriors, including many that have never been seen before in a video game

Mini-games and tag-team fighting.

I like the idea of mini games, I can imagine the kind of mini games you got in Pokemon Stadium :D

Interesting... I'll love being able to reenact the Vegeta battle (Kuririn, Gohan, and Yajarobe VS Vegeta. I'd also love to have Yajarobe).

100?!? Unless that includes transformations (which it might), I can't see that many unless the new characters are a mixture of movie characters (which makes up the list of new characters so far), Dragon Ball characters (such as Lunch or Pilaf), Pikkon, those characters that were in the previous games but were left out last time (Uub, Omega Shenron, and Kibitoshin), or obscure characters (Kiwi anyone?). Maybe Bulma, Mr. Popo or, heck, even Arale to add some variety.

Tag-team fighting? Looks like people who were upset about no Goku VS Jiece and Burter last time will finally get their wish.

Mini-games, eh? "See who can get more pissed off at Kakarotto! Vegeta, Broly, Pilaf, or Chi-Chi!" :P

I'll be 100% happy with this game if I can finally see Pilaf fighting Garlic Jr. :)
I also go by "veemonjosh".

I smell a possible "Suguroku Dimension" mode.

Well, actually, I don't... but it would kick @$$ if that were the theme.

I’m really hoping for a good and solid storyline this time! I think that most Dragonball games don’t stick to the story well enough. Yeah I know it’s a long story and it is hard to follow but why couldn’t they of done what they did in the first Budoki, now that was a good game.

Actually, the main reason I like Budokai 2 is because it deviates from the story and goes to poke fun at it. =D Sparking Neo is free to do the very same thing.

Heh...anyone else want Freeza and Cell to come back every level?

Deviation in any form is good for a Dragon Ball game, in my opinion, just as long as it's good deviation. I like what-if? storylines.

If Sparking! NEO was all what-if? and none of the original storyline, I'd be a happy fanboy... :P

Seems that way. Gamestop says so. They don't usually put a specific date unless there is a legitamte source that gave them that date. Bare in mind, however, that it could quickly and easily (and I'm willing to bet money that it will...) change.

But then again, I'm guessing the October 14th date is for the Playstation 2 version, as the Wii's supposed to be released in November. :P

It looks like the Wii's version release date is March 30th, going by Gamestop.

Hildegarn

What do you know? The verbal confirmations were true! I think this game is going to be so sexy. Plus Super Saiyan 3 Goku's Kamehameha looks very explosive! Can't way to play as Janenba's first form.

By the way, a question for everyone: Is Hildegarn accurate in terms of its size? I haven't the slightest idea because I have not watched movie 13.

Damn, Hildegarn and Janenba's first form are HUGE! (I was actually hoping his first form would be in this game)

So, now we need Garlic Jr and Dr. Urio to complete the movie villan roster! (Unless you include Gurumes and Lucifer into that...)
