Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

I wouldn't have Freeza be from another universe. It's Uni 7's Freeza, it would be that same universe, only changed to his favor, but Freeza would still have all his memories from before. (Because that way he can wave what he's done in Gokû and Vegeta's faces. If Freeza doesn't recall the before world much banter is lost.)

I've always been under the impression that the other universes aren't actually parallel/alternate realities, but rather physical locations where other strong beings, completely different to Goku and co., could be living. At least, that's how they made it sound at the end of BOG and in the Chozenshuu.

I'm not taking about the other universes. I know and agree with you that the other universes are different places altogether.

I'm talking only about universe 7. I'm taking about a wish that would only affect and change universe 7 (at least until they fix it at the end of the movie.)

At least Mr. Satan finally meets Freeza for the first time. Before 2015, Freeza was the only main DBZ villain that he met since he met Vegeta, Cell and Buu.

You're deluding yourself if you think Mr. Satan is going to be in this movie. Now that he's not held back by a stomach ache or his compassion, there's nothing to stop him from curb-stomping the villain. The movie would be over in about one minute. Five seconds for Mr. Satan to punch Freeza, and then fifty-five seconds more seconds until the technique kicks in and Freeza drops dead after thinking Mr. Satan's punch didn't do anything.

Other random thought: A lot of people are asking how Freeza's going to be strong enough to contest with the heroes in this film, do you think people were asking the same questions when Garlic Jr. came back in the Anime? I mean, the gulf in class is no where near as great, but still...

Depends on the person honestly. Not everyone saw Dead Zone so they probably was like "Who the fuck is Garlic".

This supposition has been probably mentioned already, but having in mind that the movie poster doesn't show a single Super Saiyan (the first one that does that since the Super Saiyan showed in the series. I'm not counting the 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour Special because it's not a movie) and Beerus said in BOG that Goku in his normal state couldn't beat Freeza, i fear the possibility of a "no supersaiyans allowed" wish in the plot. And of course, i said fear because Shenron shouldn't be able to do that.

Sort of bummed that the character on the poster turned out to be Gohan. But if Goten and Trunks look older in this movie, I'll forgive the Gohan design.

No ssj form the better. Most Saiyans in their base form have a better design imo. Honestly, I just wish Goku got the firm and that's it. Same for his God form as it should only be for one. Gohan had his Mystic form and that's a good thing.


Super Saiyans are cool but are also the bane of the series. See the Buu arc.

This whole 'he was only so-so strong before, so there's no way he could be stronger than that now!' thing just makes no sense to me. It's fiction. The characters will be as strong as they need to be to tell the story.

That and it's not like you couldn't take Goku or anyone else from any point in the story, then jump to a much further point in the story, and do the same thing. 'What?! But Gohan barely held on against Freeza, there's no way he'll be able to take down Ce - ...oh.'

I used to say the same thing about Goku being stronger than Vegetto (SSJ). This is DB. The same series that gave Goku a x33 zenkai to become close to Freeze's power. I don't see the issue of Freeza becoming an evil God and getting a similar power up.
