I'm pretty sure Toyo is a Gohan fan so he'll get his due in the manga there should be no doubt there. It was a kiai attack, it wasn't anything massive. It was enough to stop Mai from interfering.

I always thought Toyo was just projecting his own frustration through Goku(I'll admit that's a big assumption). Toyo's past work has Gohan powering up a lot(unless he didn't actually make AF).

The manga has a faster pace so that's why Gohan hasn't appeared. He most likely follows the outline a little more.

Naah, no buildup needed, even if gohan surpases berrus by rage we can still explain it by his potential was building up so much it exploded or something..

Your comment basically says you like Gohan only becuase he is the strongest.

You are still getting excited about a character who with Ultimate form will be much weaker than Goku and Vegeta. This means according to the current Dragon ball fanbase he will be useless.

According to some, he's fodder and all his matches are a waste of time too just because he's weaker.

So basically 8 of em are fcked, seems reasonable. At least Gohan's still their 3rd strongest, meaning he will still be able to do stuffs that the other 7 would be more of a fodder.

I am not saying he will do the worse, I just hate this hype with Gohan when there is not much to get that hyped about. The worse thing is that everyone just forgets the other 7 members even though they are coming back to enter a tournament which involves the strongest in each universe. How can you not get excited about that.

I would like the point out that Buu did a similar ki pushed to the Supreme Kai and it had him screaming in agony. So, I would assume the same ki blast could rip the flash off a normal person. I mean, a tornado is just a funnel of wind if you break it down.

He even made him part of the cover in chapter one where he only popped up for a panel. Gohans lack of relevance in the manga is more because Toriyama didn't give him much of a role.
