If his bang design was never introduced, people would like this design. The reason why it gets so much complaints is because it's a downgrade to many of us. As Kagari said though, I'm just happy he's back to being part of the cast.

Does Helles look like she could be a character on the Simpsons to anyone else, or is it just me? Her design just seems like its from another series outside of Dragonball. Not in a bad way, but just different.

Anyway, is anyone else just hyped at the number of new characters we're getting? This is epic! They are actually taking time with these designs and I feel like there is SO much they can do. This is some next level shit.

My only worry now is the people who already complain that we don't get enough characters in the DB video games. Now they're going to want a 500 character roster...lol.

Bang-less Gohan is kickass enough. He does not need it and I think the fans that are so desperate for it need another one, a different kind of bang way more.

1: Real Gohan fans
2: Ssj2 Gohan fans
3: Gohan hidden potential fans

That was the first thing that come to my mind when it was announced that it would be 10 per universe. The games after this tournament finishes are going to be big.

Personally, I would rather see him in his RoF! design more than his old Buu arc wardrobe. At least he had a different haircut and the tracksuit made him his own person instead of just wearing a copy of Goku's Gi. Though, sometimes I feel like the only Gohan fan who loved his character in RoF! and the arc retelling of it...

Your not alone I loved it too and my biggest nitpicks with Gohan is that he is stuck in Gokus massive shadow and I hope he takes a step out of it in this new arc

I really don't mind Gohan's hair since the bang usually magically manifests itself when he transform into SSJ, such as in the instances against Ginyu-Tagoma and against Goku. Really wouldn't have minded the RoF hair & glasses, it looked kinda cool - yes, even during the part where he was completely drained of his power after powering up beyond his limits, which was pretty awesome in itself despite the whole 'passed out eyes'

edit; after watching the scene where he wants to train with Piccolo, I actually really like his ROF hair, it reminds me of the Bojack Movie hairstyle!

Namekian Saiyan, you are completely wrong. Don't take the Gohans fanbase exaggerated complaints seriously, we all loved him. There is a reason why people were still complaining over a year after ROF. No one just likes Gohan because of his power or his win loss record. Heck, his win loss record isn't even that good haha. If people truly only liked him because of that, they would've dropped him the second ROF came out. There is nothing wrong with preferring Gohan to get stronger or win more though . I think every fan of every character wants to see that happen for them.

Anybody find something ironic here? The fact that this "Lavenda" (pun on Lavender btw) character is voiced by Takeshi Kusao, Trunks's seiyuu who has lavender hair (Future Trunks used to, but not anymore).

Gohan's fanbase reminds me of the Dallas Cowboys fan base. Incredibly thirsty for their main guy to be relevant again, and always harp back to the glory days when the Cowboys won the Superbowl back in 95 just like when Gohan beat Cell and fought Buu.

Gohan may dominate this Zen Exhibition Match, just like the Cowboys dominated the regular season with a record of 13-3, but just like how the Cowboys got eliminated in their first playoff match when it really counts, I predict Gohan will job when the real tournament starts.

Gohan fans are the most unloyal. In Japan apparently he was their favourite character when he was the strongest and beat Cell but when he lost this status in the Buu arc he went below Piccolo who had no fight.
