I do, but not Gohan. Not the pacific, great scholar wannabe Gohan we know. He's that typical young man that just doesn't get out of the track. He's not Goku. He dedicates time to his family, he dedicates time to study... Then he dedicates some time to spar.

He can be "not Goku" and still dedicate time to train. Even if he isn't pushing himself to the brink, all he needs is to regain his unlocked potential. It's a power he already has, he just needs to get it back.

At times when there are no battles, or on days off, what sorts of things do the warriors do?

This was before Gohan's training was introduced, you can't honestly use it as evidence now.

Uh, no? He's been training since between F and the Champa arc.

Any evidence? I just remember the spar (not training) he had with Piccolo, which contribute nothing to a major power-up.

Episodes 27 and 30 both outright said he was training with Piccolo, 67 seemed to imply that he was off training with Piccolo and 75 showed him fighting evenly with Super Saiyan Goku.

You see, this is my issue with gohan fans, despite him being my third favorite character. You guys read into thing too much without thinking of context or hinsight.

Literally after they mentioned him training, he ignores going to tournament to go to a conference.

In a trunks episode, piccolo even says himself that gohan isn't a martial artist anymore.

In that sparring match, goku was holding back, he always holds back.

In that last goku even talks about gohan getting back his fighting sense, why would goku mention that if his son was training?

I also promise you that in episode 80, gohan ain't sensing ki and will get jobbed. It won't be pretty.

It's like I'm the only one who knows what show I'm watching.

I think all that Gohan training stuff was from Toei. Probably since he already knew about what was to come he wanted to not let fans forget about Gohan so they tried to put some training stuff and some hints along the way. So from what we saw last episode when Goku was trying to recruit him I would presume that Gohan has not been training.

Also, is it only me or does anyone else see a bit of princess Trunks in that fembroly design?

It doesn't really matter who's idea it was anymore. It happened and it's relevant.

He was only going to go to the tournament to test how far he'd come, there weren't any real stakes in the tournament so his life took precedence over fighting for fun.

In a trunks episode, piccolo even says himself that gohan isn't a martial artist anymore.

And Krillin just went back to training for his family and even told Goku he wasn't going to become a martial artist again. Gohan is a scholar and a family man first, but he trains to protect his family, not to be a martial artist.

In that sparring match, goku was holding back, he always holds back.

That's your speculation, he seemed to be pretty into the fight and was surprised by Gohan, unlike in his bout with Trunks who couldn't even land a single blow.

In that last goku even talks about gohan getting back his fighting sense, why would goku mention that if his son was training?

Training and having friendly sparring matches isn't the same as having real fights, Gohan hasn't had a real fight in a while, outside of Watagash.

I also promise you that in episode 80, gohan ain't sensing ki and will get jobbed. It won't be pretty.

The preview makes it sound like he can't sense Ki BECAUSE of the poison. I think it's very likely he wins, and even if he doesn't he can still have a power up afterwards and/or have great fights in the tournament proper where he doesn't have his sight and ki sensing taken from him.

I don't know, Goku's been around his family and working as a farmer fairly often. He's honestly been better in that regard.

It'll probably switch off between Goku and Gohan of the U7 fighters depending on who has the bigger news to talk about at the moment.

Also guys, I wouldn't read into the sparks too much. Sparks were shown in a game opening before too. It probably doesn't mean anything significant. [I'm just glad he's taking fighting seriously again.]

That is why I don't like him. Why should he be get power ups and fights when other characters who fight and train all their lives get nothing. Every fighter whether good or evil likes to fight apart from Gohan. He ruins a show where he does not belong.

So this what Toyo meant when he said he would be ahead of the anime and sending work back to them and we had a two month break all the pieces starting to fit. Also did Toyo flat out design these himself or did Toriyama still come up with the concept? Either way no complaints at all except maybe the Robot not a fan. Glad to see Toyo involved more than just a monthly promo Manga.

Also call me crazy but I don't care about Gohan now, I think Buu arc Kai is rubbing off on me as I am feeling indifferent towards him now.

The reason he stopped training is the same reason why Piccolo stopped making gains: Toriyama just didn't want to use them. We'll see what the future has for both of them.

I think it's been implied the ENTIRE Dragon Ball series that Gohan is special. It just so happens that he doesn't really have a desire to use that gift. So if the writers decide that they're going to throw him back in there, you're going to get over it and watch the show anyways.

There are plenty of shows out there where a strong and talented fighter doesn't have the desire to fight, so why is he out of place for this???

I think it's been implied the ENTIRE Dragon Ball series that Gohan is special. It just so happens that he doesn't really have a desire to use that gift. So if the writers decide that they're going to throw him back in there, you're going to get over it and watch the show anyways.

There are plenty of shows out there where a strong and talented fighter doesn't have the desire to fight, so why is he out of place for this???

Hmm... Since this tournament involves all of the universes, I wonder if the audiences will be able to view it on Kami Tube back on their respective universes or planets. If so then it's quite obvious where Dr. Myuu got his idea to create "Hakaishin no Lood". I could be thinking too deep into it but if that is by any chance a little GT foreshadowing, that would be pretty damn dope.

So Bulma and co. would be able to see Goku and co.s matches while sitting at home? Does GodTube support live broadcasts?
