Is there a Youtube link of the clip of Trunks fighting freeza? that would be awesome to see!Gonstead wrote:We don't exactly know how many episodes that they actually completed before halting production.
We know that the first 39 episodes are fully remastered. We've also seen clips from other arcs like Trunks when he fights Freeza but most likely it was only that small clip.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

It's nothing more than Trunks performing the attack he does to distract Frieza. It's a part of the trailer for the announcement of the Blu-Rays.samuraix123 wrote:Is there a Youtube link of the clip of Trunks fighting freeza? that would be awesome to see!Gonstead wrote:We don't exactly know how many episodes that they actually completed before halting production.

Oh...I thought maybe it could have been a full fight scene clip.
I honestly can't wait to start re-watching the series again this year. I'm definitely going to start off with the level sets!
It's too bad Funimation canned this project. it was amazing! at-least in my opinion.

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Man, I just watched that featurette they made to go along with the sets and it only made me sadder that this never finished. I only wish that they'd reach out to Toei and seek additional financing. Considering the big goals they have for DB right now, what with the new movie and int'l Buu-saga Kai, I think it might be in their interest - and since they wouldn't be footing the whole bill it wouldn't be so expensive on them. Who knows? Maybe FUNi already tried, but I doubt that. =/
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
Yeah, that's why I'm not a huge fan of this footage.AnimeMaakuo wrote:One major problem with the level sets is that the blacks are so crushed that nearly all detail is lost within the relative darkness of a tree or a character's outfit.
A big part of the Dragon Boxes at the time, and now Kai to me is the dark details. It's so nice to see all of the detail that I didn't know existed before.
