Mr. Satan will be, in our show, referred to as Mr. Satan. However, Satan WILL be his last name, with his first name being Mark. His "Stage" name is (the H-word). So, Mark "(the H-word)" Satan. This way, we get to touch on both the dub and the original.
Good to know that you guys are already thinking about the later sagas.

The disappointing Lord Slug film scared me a bit, but Episode 26 certainly reassured me that TFS haven't lost their touch.

You didn't like it? It was hillarius, especial the ending with Super Kami Guru.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

1. While that would be nice to see, I think it's fine as it is as it shows how far TFS come from it's early days to what it is now.

2. It was just described a few posts above yours.

I agree, the earlier episodes should not be touched. The only ones I still insist should somewhat be touched is movies 1 and 2. I would leave them as they are, but just touch up the footage a bit and release them again. Like Gonstead said, it helps to show how far you've come. Also it would serve as a nice Christmas or Easter present and a set up for the coming of the Garlic Arc.

Well, it's possible that it could be done away with altogether by that time, but we do like to touch on the dub as well. It made a huge impact on American DBZ culture.
Plus, it gives you freedom to make jokes about all three of his names. :)

One I'd these days, I do want us to go back to Movies 1&2 and redo it damn near from the ground up. Mostly because you have two different writers and a couple years worth of further experience. As it is, they both are very different from how we currently write.

I see..
And they have given us a lot of time to make a contribution, so it doesn't have to take time out of the holidays.
Nice.

When I thought Fan art contest I though.

"Great, another contest I can't enter because I can't draw to save my life"

Then I read this...
But not just traditional art: We'll except almost any medium! Music, writing, live action, animation, hand drawn, 3D, you name it!
Oh Hell'z Yes! I am definitely entering this! Plus with the amount of time they have given us to send in our entries it works great so it's not held up by the holidays.

Wow. Did you guys do color cast removal on the most recent episode, or do the Dragon Box episodes actually look this clean at this point? Either way, it looks good.
My favorite movie henchman is Sancho.

Follow my stupid crap on Twitter. Please note, I do not have time to reply to any PMs about color correction methods anymore; sorry about that.

Anyone else celebrate Christmas by watching "Christmas Tree of Might"?
This will never not be my sig:

So (as much as I hate Christmas) I was wondering, are TFS doing anything special for Christmas?
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

You hate Christmas? That's sad. I'm Agnostic and I just make it about love, friends, family, and trying to spread some joy~

As far as TFS and Christmas this year, we're all busy. But you can expect some neat stuff coming up here soon.

Maybe he hates the fact that "Happy Holidays" (yeah, that's pretty stupid to call it that) has become more of a thing about things, instead of the thought of giving and happiness.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada
