Universe C vs D
Universe E vs F
Universe G vs H.
Winning universe moves on.
Universe A vs C and so on.
Makes sense with nice 8 team number.

I heard that there were team battles (like Goku and Gohan teaming up, or 17 and 18 teaming up) but I don't know about team matches.

When every fighter is down I suppose, if A is fighting B and C is fighting D, if C beat D , C can help A defeat B..

Huh when I came up with that I assumed it be strictly one universe vs another but I suppose anything is possible.

I would be all for the Grand Priest being a major villain. It would be a little different because Dragon Ball has never had a plot twist kind of villain before.

If all the angels ended up siding with him except for Whis then it would kind of turn expectations on their head. People were expecting the Gods to be villains.

The fighters and the Gods teaming up to go to war against the angels, the strongest beings in the Multiverse would be pretty cool.

That would be final Saga worthy.

And what is zeno doing during all this?
If it happens it will be infront of him

Zeno will be dead after the Grand Priest kills him in a surprise attack to become the new Omni King of course.

Well, to be fair the Omni king has guards for a reason. He's not strong in the regular sense. He's more of a magical being than a fighter .

Now with that ningen level thing, it's also possible that the whole thing serve to show Zeno how good are lower level ones and no universe get destroyed (then low-level 10 mvp versus 10 high-level mvp to confirm... Goku+Toppo+Hit against who know O_O!)

If Grand Priest wants to be the king, I don't see why not. It's just a title. Whis could go around doing Beerus' activities, but he doesn't want to.


I wonder if sleep mode is automatic ? Maybe the angels put themselves into hibernation because they know that's what's expected of them ?

How likely is it that 17 is going to become ridiculously op this arc. I keep seeing merch of him that makes him look like he is top tier. Heroes is going especially hard with this. God tier 17 here we come.

He'll probably not reach God Tier but will probably be one of the more important characters this saga. My guess at least.

Fuji TV preview for 81, nothing groundbreaking but here it is: In the final round of the Zen Exhibition Match, Goku competes against Universe 9's Bergamo, who exposes Goku and curses him as a bad guy for risking universal annihilation. With an awful mood in the air, Goku's match finally begins.

It would be cool to have a tournament between all the universes a la Tenkaichi to establish the strongest non-God fighter of the multiverse.

He's weak at first, but gets an upgrade when Krillin steals tech from the robot god!
