If I remember correctly, Goku was offended when Bergamo called him a thoughtless fool for his actions. In that particular moment, he probably didn't appreciate someone criticizing his motives.Noah wrote:[spoiler]Any thoughts about this serious look Goku gave to Bergamo after he said he's the enemy of all universes?

So, let's say Roshi, Kuririn or some other member of U7 gets knocked out of the ring but before falling into the void, Piccolo or Buu saves him by stretching his arm... Is this allowed ?
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
What's the point of a no-killing rule when the losers die anyway? Hell, unless the angels save them from falling out of the ring, I doubt throwing them in the void isn't going to kill 'em.
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

Well falling into a void is way worst than dying, you basically fall for eternity or at least till you die from hunger or thirst OR if something does save them from falling ex: the angels making sure they land on something or they catch them meaning they dont die, like a lot of us said, why the no killing rule if they're all gonna die anyways? makes no sense, well it does if Goku,Zeno and grand priest all planned this from the start, its all a scam, that can explain why Goku's been so nonchalant over the course of this arc, true he was surprised when they mentioned the stakes, but that could be him just acting, cause up until now he is way too calm.Kanassa wrote:What's the point of a no-killing rule when the losers die anyway? Grand Priest having those villanious tendencies as a scam with matching it up with Goku's as well, I can imagine Grand Priest after this arc joking with Goku that it was hard acting like some evil commissioner just to amuse Zeno and go along with Goku's plan. Goku's calling to much heat on him its like he's doing everything on purpose to piss them off and come at him in full force, this screams Hit assassination arc all over again for me at least.Ki Breaker wrote:Him telling gohan that only when he wasn't joining, him telling every god come at me bro..SansrivaaL wrote:Well falling into a void is way worst than dying, you basically fall for eternity or at least till you die from hunger or thirst OR if something does save them from falling ex: the angels making sure they land on something or they catch them meaning they dont die, like a lot of us said, why the no killing rule if they're all gonna die anyways? makes no sense, well it does if Goku,Zeno and grand priest all planned this from the start, its all a scam, that can explain why Goku's been so nonchalant over the course of this arc, true he was surprised when they mentioned the stakes, but that could be him just acting, cause up until now he is way too calm.Kanassa wrote:What's the point of a no-killing rule when the losers die anyway? Yeah, and it also completely fits with my theory of grand priest training goku once this tournament is over..SansrivaaL wrote:Grand Priest having those villanious tendencies as a scam with matching it up with Goku's as well, I can imagine Grand Priest after this arc joking with Goku that it was hard acting like some evil commissioner just to amuse Zeno and go along with Goku's plan. I noticed that Toei spoiled the outcome of the Battle Royal, around the scene where Shin mentions it will be battle royal, the silhouettes behind U7 and U6, are U11 and the fox team(the fox that appears in the OP).
Meaning the battle royal might end in a draw, setting up the semifinals.

And what happens if one fighter accidentally kills another? He will have his universe erased for that? I mean you can't expect most fighters to know who's the weak and who's the strongest, shits like that could happen.Kanassa wrote:What's the point of a no-killing rule when the losers die anyway? Opponents thrown to the void why? Maybe there is a special place there to have the rest till the tournament is over and not get them killed for a set up tournament..

Considering Super's filler has a knack for foreshadowing the next arc, Goku bullshitting this whole time is possiable.Ki Breaker wrote:Him telling gohan that only when he wasn't joining, him telling every god come at me bro..SansrivaaL wrote:Well falling into a void is way worst than dying, you basically fall for eternity or at least till you die from hunger or thirst OR if something does save them from falling ex: the angels making sure they land on something or they catch them meaning they dont die, like a lot of us said, why the no killing rule if they're all gonna die anyways? makes no sense, well it does if Goku,Zeno and grand priest all planned this from the start, its all a scam, that can explain why Goku's been so nonchalant over the course of this arc, true he was surprised when they mentioned the stakes, but that could be him just acting, cause up until now he is way too calm.Kanassa wrote:What's the point of a no-killing rule when the losers die anyway? I consider them not being capable of thinking anything new on their own and being stealing assholes even for filler, but yeah.. the end results are the sameKanassa wrote: Considering Super's filler has a knack for foreshadowing the next arc, Goku bullshitting this whole time is possiable.

Don't like the no killing rule. What if someone like Hit accidentally punches Roshi's head off using his full power?

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Zeno was bluffing about the consequences? That Goku asked Zeno to come up with that threat in order to motivate everyone?SansrivaaL wrote:Grand Priest having those villanious tendencies as a scam with matching it up with Goku's as well, I can imagine Grand Priest after this arc joking with Goku that it was hard acting like some evil commissioner just to amuse Zeno and go along with Goku's plan. He's bullshitting because he wants everyone to get pissed at him so that they'll take this/him seriously and go at him at a 100%.Dbzfan94 wrote:How could he even be bullshitting though? There is literally no way Goku would be this calm after hearing such stakes, we saw how he was when Chanpa was about to kill Hit and the others, he was about to jump in if it werent for Beerus threatening him.
Cmon guys, you really think it would be fine for Goku to let Zeno,Grand Priest kill the participants? participants that can give him a better fight after the tournament? I doubt it.
There's a reason why he's calm despite hearing every surprising things said like he knew everythings gonna be fine, I feel like this is why its a rumble in the 1st place, so that they have a reason not to destroy a universe the moment that team loses, they'll destroy it once the match is done (which they wont since its probably all a scam)

I hope you're right. But at the same time, i feel like the ends doesn't justify the means of doing this to his character. Why would they purposely draw his eyes like Black's aka "villain eyes"?SansrivaaL wrote:He's bullshitting because he wants everyone to get pissed at him so that they'll take this/him seriously and go at him at a 100%.Dbzfan94 wrote:
