Since nobody seems to be asking the important questions..., how likely is that they give us Vegeta changing a diaper? That's would just be golden.
That would be fully natural for him the way they "progressed" his character..
What would surprise me is if he does something interesting in fighting, now that would be a rarity

Seconding. Vegeta's so human right now that him enjoying battle again would be a shock.
He'll change that diaper normally like any other 2nd time parent would.
I had a lot of fun with the Vegeta humor way back during BOG and the first couple arcs of Super, but it's been so overused/run its course with me that I've circled round and I just want proud prince of all saiyans hot-blooded Vegeta back. Hell, I'd be willing to settle for early-mid-Super Vegeta.

Goku has that flair. Gohan is slowly coming back. The rest have been domesticated. 17 will bring some cocky flair to the show.
I don't see hot-blooded Vegeta coming back. His character arc came full circle in the Buu arc and his place as a rival has really been diminished in Super.

I don't either. I'm willing to cut my losses and hope they'll come up with a new rival for Gokû who can be a decent replacement and entertaining character.

Not to mention how he noticed Goku has a lot more fun fighting with Hit than him, that was sad, he aint gonna recover from that.

My problem with Vegeta in Super is he's sort of resigned himself to "well okay, me too" with Goku. It just doesn't hold to the original dynamic they had. I'm really curious how big a role he will ultimately have in this arc given his role was already lessened in the Trunks arc, the filler after and now the beginning of this one.
Let's not get too depressed over this guys..
Can't say for others but manga Vegeta is still entertaining, it's not their plan to remove him from his rival position..
Its just that most of them absolutely suck at writing him ( and many others )

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if 17 became one of the main fighters after this arc.
All the old characters have stopped fighting and this arc feel like their big last moment before retiring for good. But while their doing this there is also a addition of a character who doesn't fit this classification.
One who has a personality that seems like he would enjoy fighting and striving to be the best. He is probably a park ranger because he wants to protect life and that seems like it could change into him wanting to protect the universe.
If your wondering why he hasn't tried to protect the universe before this it's probably because it wasn't any of his business and he wanted a quiet life to seek atonement but now after he gets a taste of being a hero it might become a thing for him.
By accidentally using Jiren (which might actually be the name of the gray alien dude) instead of Toppo in the summary, there's a pretty clear name pun scheme now for the Pride Troopers:
Toppo = a rearrangement of potto, the Japanese word for pot
Jiren = a rearrangement of renji, the Japanese word for stove

So we have cooking stuff for these guys
Beerus-like guy will be kettle lol.
Btw I think there were some alien races with names like these in DB Online.

Might as well given the stakes of this tournament everyone has to train to get some gains in this tourney.
Gohan has to, the spoilers can't happen without him getting extensive training
Not just him the others definetly need something like a power up or new technique for this tournament.
I think you guys forget how ultimate Gohan came to be. 24 hours of sitting around.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Not that I don't want the cast to improve but not with the RoSaT, too much recycling for my taste.
Since nobody seems to be asking the important questions..., how likely is that they give us Vegeta changing a diaper? That's would just be golden.
My thoughts exactly. I hate it that RoSaT came back with "new rules", it's a shame when you have places like that dimension in Whis's staff and a possibility of training with the former.

I feel you, I'm tired of they using Vegeta for stupid and overused jokes, but I wouldn't say I would like his Super Vegeta persona to came back, I think the best characterization Vegeta ever had was when he came back to Earth to fight Boo-han that he had to join with Goku, we had good moments of them together (including filler)
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Why are we acting like episode 63, 8, 36, 54 and more never happened. You guys act like Vegeta's never gotten hot blooded in this show.

Alien guys Heroes card or whatever partially leaked and his name ends in ren so its a pretty safe assumption

Those name puns are better then mine
Yes his name is Jiren, his name was not only mixed up with Toppo's for the next episode but he's also going to be a secret boss for the Buu Demon mission in Heroes and his name is shown as Jiren.
