Because a lot of us have no digital camera... but I DO have a scanner, so if I really wanted to take some form of picture of entire SBC, I would.
But I think a digital camera would make this easier...

Point aside:
I have the best thing anyone of you guys could have, I got Akira Toriyama HIMSELF! He is my Dragonball slave, and I have all of the manga, and all of it redrawn to see fit to my likings, and I even have the official Dragonball AF manga, and the series after that, Dragonball D, and it will never be released ever because Akira Toriyama is mine, and you can't have him.

:D

Look at my wallscroll I just got in the mail a few minutes ago <3<3

It's sitting on my computer chair, which is why it looks funny.

Ok, that's odd... I have that same poster; but my poster has the old dub logo, not the original yellow and red one, but that yellow fading into orange logo from the Ocean dub days.

Well no, it's the Yellow and Orange logo. The webcam just threw some of the colors off.

And I noticed while looking at it that the image is flipped. Bardock's scouter and scar are on the opposite side than what they are supposed to. The sold out blacklite poster on the that, however, is correctly shown.

That's wierd that the image is flipped, I just now noticed that!

But here is what my poster looks like, I think it's because I bought it in 1999 lol.

I seriously doubt it.

The reason they were going for rediculus prices a few years ago is because DBZ was at its peak in the US. I remember even seeing it for $500 as far back as 2001. DBZ has slowly died down here, so I doubt the value will go up.

Wow, it's seems that a few of you own the Bardock/Goku poster. Hell, even I posted that in this thread

I got the wallscroll, not the poster. Total I payed $23.95 for it. That was $17.95 plus $6 shipping charges. Japanimation offers the poster as well for $6, I think.

And damn you for letting Bardock get into that condition!

Ah, sorry! I don't remember what condition it was in when it was given to me but I do know that hanging it in a guest room wouldn't do it any good either.. >.>; When Suncoast was still around, they had a lot of generic DragonBall wallscrolls in the twenty range.. 'Should've picked them up when I had the chance..:x

Well, a friend of mine (who owns a Japanese animation items store), just got me this rare Porunga gashapon.
Why is it rare? Because all of its parts came randomly along with other gashapons from the same collection,so , you could either get it all together, or you could blow your money away and always get the same parts.
Anyways, hope you enjoy it, for I certainly did!

Nice find. It kinda reminds me of those old happy meal toys that would be one toy by itself, but a gigantic train of toys when linked together. I remember me and my classmate always complaining that we'd end up with 5 or so of Inspector gagdet's right arm, but would never get his other limbs .

(collects himself and tries getting back on topic) Well... the only update I've got so far is Jump Ultimate Stars and FUNi's Season 1 Set.

Nice Porunga, Son_GokouSSJ4. ;)

One question though, how big is it? O_o

(I remember that damn Inspector Gadget, Daemon Corps. I had too many repeats, and all I needed was his head >.<, then thankfully my friend got the head, and we put him together, it was pretty cool. ;D)

Just your average gashapon size.
Maybe 10/11 cms tall.
Here...this will help you to have a better notion:

The thing I love about Gashapons is that they are very detailed. The thing I don't love is that they are small...Imagine having one of those Porunga's in your home...except about the size of a Great Monkey Baby! (which is about as tall as your average CPU).

Ooh, the money I'd spend!

A Pathetic Ebay Story

Post by nathantheguitarist » Tue Feb 20, 2007 6:21 pm

So I was bidding on this set of the first 3 movies, and won.

And well... I'll let this letter to the seller I just wrote explain itself.

"First off, would like to say thank you, because it was the cheapest I could find this set. Second, I want to say that this was probably the most pathetic purchase I have ever made from eBay.

Your information on the Boxset's listing reads like this:

This is one Great Box set! All DVD's have only been watched once and then immediatly put back in their cases. NO SCRATCHES!!!!! ADULT OWNED!!

Now... I kind of expected to be buying from an adult, and expected to be getting DVDs with no scratches. And I have also been having bad luck with buying DVDs as of lately, and SPECIFICALLY told you to put tape OVER THE DISCS ON THE HUBS of the DVDs; so this would eliminate all possibilities of the discs becoming dislodged, and then damaged from bouncing around and getting scuffed on the hub.

This was not the case with either of these.

Upon opening the bubble mailer, I noticed you had stuck tape over the middle of the box itself. I thought, "Okay, maybe the person wanted to do some extra protection, to make sure that the DVDs didn't fly out of the slip-case."
Upon removing the first movie, The Dead Zone, I heard rattling... and sure enough, there was NO TAPE... but then I noticed that HALF OF THE HUB WAS MISSING ANYWAYS... I thought it was maybe very bad shipping... but the rest of the hub was not to be found anywhere in the envelope, or case. So ofcourse, it was scratched...
So then I take out the movie, The Tree of Might, and the SAME THING HAPPENED... severe scratches; I do not know if it is still playable while writing this letter, but it doesn't look too good...
And then I take out the last movie, The World's Strongest, and I am actually surprised at this point to see that it was the only one still intact, and actually had no scratches.

I will not be asking for a refund, seeing as how I want to keep 40% of what I have received, but I will be leaving a bad feedback, and I will not be making any other purchases from you. I just wanted you to know how I felt about this matter.

If you have any reasons for any of this, please reply to me."

Some picture's (bad ones from a webcam) that I sent along with this email.

What I meant when I told him to put tape over the hubs.

The half of a hub, which scratched the hell out of Dead Zone and Tree of Might

Best pics of the scratches I could get.

Edit: Had to re-link the images from long ago.
