Well, I'd actually prefer Faulconer to the BT2 music, since y'know... Faulconer's music was actually used in the series. XDscottdahl wrote:I just saw a thread on the gamefaq site about meteor that said "I so wish they hired Bruce Faulconer for the music." if anyone postes there you need to blast them.
Although, I would still of course prefer Shinsuke Kikuchi's compositions over Faulconer's.
Why, because you have an oppinion? Belive it or not, not everyone of Daizex hates Funimation and its music as much as you might think.scottdahl wrote:I just saw a thread on the gamefaq site about meteor that said "I so wish they hired Bruce Faulconer for the music." if anyone postes there you need to blast them.

I think that Bruce Falconer's music should be the English-version music for the game. It's be a little bit better than the BT2's music (Which I like, by the way...) It'll be something new, and would make it feel more like the series. And I also think that the US game should have the Japanese music. I've been thinking that since last year...
Hello my dub-hating DB friends! It's been a while.
I'm exited for this. Although I only have the first Budokai Tenkaichi right now, so I'm a little behind with the console games (playing SSW2 right now).
I wish they would have gotten more creative with he U.S. names by now. I mean I'm fine with Budokai Tenkaichi 3, but Neo and Meteor are much more interesting than numbers.
I'd like to see some earlier characters like Dragoball Kuririn and Yamcha, pherhaps even the young Master Roshi that appeared at the beginning of the King Piccolo saga. Some What-If fusions would be nice too. Also, some improved attacks. I don't know about BT2, but the first one had some disapointments. They should up the extravagance of the Wolf Fang Fist and maybe even add the Wolf Fang Pulling Wind (yeah, it's the dub name of Yamcha's suped-up Wolf Fang Fist
). I always thought that should have been a Dragon Rush move in B3. All in all they shuld just be precise with giving the characters all of their attacks from the series and not use an repetative "ki blast volley" garbage and what not.
I'd also like to see all of the characer's alternate clothing. From the images I've seen, the characters look the most like their anime counter parts of any DB game yet. I hope this plays well.

Yeah, most of what you said Hero 004 was taken care of in BT2, no more only High Speed Rush or Ki Blast Volley and there is some costumes for some characters, others got just palette swaps.

Hmm...if true, this is intriguing...some Dutch magazine is allegedly reporting that the game has three completely brand new characters:

I'm skeptical; maybe it's misinterpreted and they're just referencing King Vegeta, King Cold, and Nail?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

This is from a guy that could apparently read it. Seeing how it says the three new characters are still unknown, it mustn't be King Vegeta ect. I won't get my hopes up, though. It'll be great if we finaly get some more originality(like another new fusion or original character like Hatchyack/Ozotto). I wonder if it'll be another great concept with bad execution, or a decent original story. Either way, if it's true, I guess I'll enjoy something new instead of going through the exact same story alone for the thousandth time. This is the important part:
Naturally, when you transform into an ape, you'll unlock a bunch of new possibilities, and not only will you have access to spectacular new attacks, but your fighter will be a lot stronger. Speaking of fighters: they apparently haven't stopped counting after part 2, because this time Spike's come up with 150 different characters. Among the lucky people are King Cold -- Frieza and Cooler's father --, King Vegeta -- Vegeta's father -- and Nail -- a Namek who fused with Piccolo later on in the show --. Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 also contains 3 completely new characters that have been made especially for this game, however, these characters remain unknown as of now.
Another important part:
What we do know, is that they've added a new, 'original' story that will revolve around the new character and a mysterious meteor (that's why the game has been given the subtitle 'Meteor' in Japan). How this plot will unfold remains guesswork, but it will be a welcome addition to the somewhat old DBZ story line that we've had to go through 8 times now on the PS2. Even so, we can't help but hide our suspicion, seeing as how the so-called 'original' story in the Shin Budokai series -- available on PSP -- was uninspired and mostly boring, to say the least.

Three new characters?
As in what-ifs? Or as in never seen before? Either way, they are both awesome!

Well the translation seems to be in order makes me curious though if they made three complete new characters or a logically transformation or fusion that didn't happen, like SS Bardock or the Fusion between Vegeta and Future Trunks.Metrite wrote:This is from a guy that could apparently read it. I don't know if you've seen them, but you can see the PAL PS2 and Wii covers of the game at this address : http://bandc.typepad.com/gamick/2007/06 ... nkaic.html

I dunno, I sort of like it. The green is an interesting touch.
There is no better combination in the world than Dragonball, Cherry Pepsi, and Cheez-Its. It's a proven fact.

Nice, I like it. Better than the last two BT covers.LaRésistance wrote:I don't know if you've seen them, but you can see the PAL PS2 and Wii covers of the game at this address : http://bandc.typepad.com/gamick/2007/06 ... nkaic.html
(And as an off topic side note, they're calling Harukanaru Goku Densetsu "Goku Densetsu" in France? At least the word they took out wasn't the one people in the country would actually recognise. Also, "Goku Legend" sounds cooler than "Distant Legend" I reckon.)
