We don’t know the “shit Future Trunks went through” to achieve Super Saiyan. In the manga, he was already a Super Saiyan prior to Gohan’s death.. He probably achieved it just like his present counterpart. It’s worth noting that him achieving Super Saiyan after Gohan died is anime-only.

The Daizenshuu 4 describes that Saiyan hybrids born without tail have the ability to easily achieve Super Saiyan at a young age, which explains Trunks and Goten’s case.

I am fully aware of that but I highly doubt he was born with it as gohan would have trained him sooner.

It’s not that they were simply born with it, the guide describes that they just simply gain the ability to transform naturally at a young age due to being “super ultra child prodigies” born without tails. We are given no info on how Future Trunks achieved the form in the manga, but the most plausible explanation is that he just simply achieved it at a young age naturally like Goten and his present counterpart.

The tailless second generation are super ultra child prodigies.

Particularly, those Halflings born without tails hide an exceptional battle power. Anyone looks forward to the cat looking guy from U11 the most? It would be interesting if we find out that he is the same race as Beerus and Champa. It could give us a possible origin story for those characters. It seems like GoDs are chosen and maybe Beerus got the job because the original U7 GoD either retire or died.

Man I do not remember this promo for the Trunks arc!

Man I am so mad they spoiled Black reveal in the key visual, that whole first episode made it ambiguous right until the last second and man that reveal would have floored me and everyone so bad, I really am not a fan of this spoiler culture that we are currently living in.

Black somewhat looks like a generic stick figure when he was holding Bulma.

He looks like a young Beerus, I'm also interested in that guy along with Fem Broly and Jiren.

The Pride Troopers as for now have the most interesting group.

Champa better get the Elite U6 saiyan people and some nameks.

oh I have a reason because they ruined super saiyan being hard toget and they created one of themost insufferable characters in the entire franchise.

Uhhh no they didn't ruin super saiyan.. Both of them are the offspring of Goku and Vegeta. Two of the strongest Saiyans to come out of their race. It's pretty obvious where they get their power from.

The trauma goku, vegeta, future trunks and Gohan went through to get this form was achieved by children who were born lucky.

How does that make you feel

They were born prodigies. Some people are born stronger than others. It's not as far fetched as you think once you see what Goku, Vegeta and Gohan have accomplished so far.

Yeah they didn't have to work for it like the rest did, but honestly it doesn't matter. By the time they're 12 (if they're not already) they probably wont be at the level of Gohan when he beat Cell. So yeah they were born with a lot of power, but since they grew up spoiled it's holding them back. Besides, fighting is more of a game to them than a life and death struggle.

Toyo just doing whatever now lol. Reason why Toriyama and Toei didn't give Vegeta SSG always knew it wouldn't look good on him, probably even worse in colour. Anyway a new episode tomorrow for the anime so there is that.

I suppose it really is subjective. As a Vegeta fan I've always been feeling that God ki should have been character specific color. With Goku being blue in SSG and SSB and Vegetas being red reminiscent of their original battle. Seeing Vegeta in red hue forms is always preferable for me and I think he looks amazing in SSG and way better than Goku. I hated the look on Goku as it made his childish appearance more so. With Vegeta I think it's a great contrast especially with his expressions. But hey opinions.

Fair enough but for me it looks like Toriyama designed it exclusively for Goku, he got skinnier, clothes went lighter in colour and boots got a white trim and made SSG Goku look really good. As for Vegeta aura-less SSG I can't see working at all, aura SSG though maybe serviceable as it makes the hair proper red and fiery aura might look okay, also the skinny doesn't work so well on Vegeta.

I do agree about different colours for god ki, but I think Goku should have kept Magenta colour and Vegeta the Blue in SSGSS. But I do love SSGSS so not too fussed plus it looks equally as good on Goku aswell.

We should get a trunks special character, with this we will be able to whip out every transformation, one shot any character and get a lightsabers which pulls energy out of thin air, and we do this without ki or stamina in game
