I just want to know if fusions are going to be a separate characters or are you going to have to do the fusion dance/potara to become the character. And if so are the fusions going to have a time limit.

I guess the fusions will be seperate characters without timelimits. Too much hassle to edit Gotenks and Trunks/Goten for example. Also because it changes moveset

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Which is why I said it was done for competitive reasons.. Think about it. If you've ever seriously played against any human player in any DBZ game did it actually matter what form you were in? Hardly I'd say. Did transforming between the different forms help with your strategy? Maybe a little for flashiness sake but not really in the long run. This kinda reminds me of Super DBZ, a game that I actually liked so SSJ forms taking up slots and being temporary doesn't piss me off too much. Unfortunately This most likely mean there'll be no in-game fusions either.

Don't get me wrong I prefer the way Spike did it but this won't kill the game for me.

Despite the fact that that's not how I want them handled, I can deal with it being a more competitive mechanic. That's all fine and dandy. My main problem is how it actually functions. If they wanted the ability to drop out of the form and all that so most characters are on a level playing field, I wish they would have just tried to tweak their previous system from Infinite World. Give as a "Transform" skill with all the forms and at least let us attempt to be able to maintain them once activated. This is a bit of a step backward in terms of freedom from most of their previous games.

A customization item won't be able to fix only having two transformations available at a time because we only have so many button combos, but maybe there will be an item that will allow the form to last longer or a gain ki while attacking. :/

Did anyone really expect the US not to? I mean, I know Bandai Namco US doesn't seem to put much effort into the franchise anymore, but the second test was described as global. I wouldn't have really counted UK and JPN beta as "global", but I guess they could have.

Alright, a couple questions that I need cleared up:

1. Since this is a global network test, how long would it take before all 20,000 codes to be used up? An hour?

2. Is this game in it's "Alpha" stage or it's "Beta" stage?

I seen a lot of people on the internet saying that north america will never get their hands on the beta and that the europeans and the japanese were the only ones to get it. I said that the u.s. has a good chance but no one believed me. :(

I'm all for a "Guilty Gear" rock soundtrack, as long as it doesn't sound VRY generic and has a balance like horns and violins playing in the background from time to time and some angelic choir singing.

The last song of the English trailer sounded good to me. Could fit for a final battle.

Pretty much exactly how it went, and in Budokai 1 Cha-La-Head-Cha-La was replaced by Rock the Dragon.

Yeah for the all the Dimps games, universal soundtracks worldwide. I know in Budokai 3 you could unlock openings with the vocals(?) Can't really remember, but I know you could unlock Budokai 2's opening in that game as well.
