I haven't found any so far. I don't expect to, either. None of the episodes remaining really warrant correcting.

The Shenlong summoning is the same, as is that ugly episode 45. Heck, I even checked Tate's #38 for good measure.

Nothing.
Not even that Shenlong summoning?
Sight, i hope that the reason behind this is the fact that they were probably focused on the newer material or i'm going to be pretty pissed off  :x
I really miss ma boy, Black :(

Holy Shit, Ajay! How much free time do you have?!
Unbelievable marvelous job. We're getting spoiled.

Thank you.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Episode 61

Animation supervisor
Shimanuki Masahiro & Takamura Kaori

Key animator
Higashide Futoshi Inaba Jin Shimanuki Masahiro Tezuka Emi Sakai Hiroyuki Kosakai Tomoya Nikaido Atsushi Karasawa Yuichi Sugawara Rieko TAP

-

What an outstanding episode. I was genuinely curious as to where Shimanuki was for much of the first half. Although he was popped up in a few scenes, his style wasn't dominating much. It seemed to be mostly folks like Higashide and Inabe who draw fairly close to the model sheets.

That second half. Shimanuki just coming in like a battering ram with that Trunks transformation and all of the reaction shots around it. Wow. Just wow. Great stuff.

Can't wait to get a better look at that cut where Black's swinging his ki blade around like a madman. That was really nicely done.

This episode was definitely Shiminuki's best. Hopefully they give Manabe most of the fight scenes next episode and Kitano does the dialogue, because Kitano is really iffy sometimes.

This episode wasn't completely animated by Shimanuki, who was the other supervisor? He did a good job.
I'm still mad about the lack of blood...

Shimanuki is truly back to his best. This was a masterclass of an episode. There were so many highlights, but the pick of the bunch has to be Future Trunks going into "Rage Boost" mode. That looked spectacular.

The art and animation alike were seriously amazing this week. Was it just me, or did the shot of Goku looking down at Black, when the latter was on the ground, look exactly like Yamamuro?

I don't why I was reminded of this shot of Goku SSJ (on the left) with this beautiful Shimanuki's shot (on the right) from Ep 61 of Super. Image

The left image looks very off. I think Goku's face is slightly scrunched together. But yes, the right one is amazing.

Awesome looking episode! Glad to see Inaba Jin again.
Trunks' transformation was amazingly well done.
Also Shimanuki's art is getting really detailed, I can only imagine what it will look like when the schedule improves more.

Could it be Otsuka trying to put in a little throwback? :P

Episode 61 Entry:
Image
Couple of things to note:

Image

First: It's become a norm now, but Trunks' pupil in Super Saiyan is removed for the final episode.

Second: I'm 99% sure I've worked out who did that cool ki-blade scene. It was Yuichi Karasawa... corrected by Shimanuki.

You have Karasawa's close-up - you can't miss the huge ears for the world, which leads right into the scene. The effects work is reminiscent of his work on episode 37, so I'm pretty confident. Some of the line work also reminds me of the scene he did around Trunks' Final Flash in 57, too. Being corrected by Shimanuki makes sense since Karasawa would be tied up on his own episode, so likely handed in rough genga.

Could be! Otsuka just came off of working on the Future Trunks special, and he already used one throwback to that. Moreover, Goku's rage feels very much like his original Super Saiyan transformation, and there's also an explosion that's framed almost 1:1 with Kuririn being blown up from that arc, too. It's a bit of an assumption, but I wouldn't be surprised.

I really like that Shiminuki has been adjusting but the only thing that bothers me is how small he draws Vegeta's hair compared to the rest of his head.
