Since he now became an animal lover, I would love they said that was something he got from A16 influence.

I never really cared about any of their characters alone, but as a team they were cool. I'm hoping they do something interesting with C17 that makes me change my opinion, as an individual character. I already know he's gonna kick ass but that's not enough to make a character interesting to me.

That's just Goku assuming he's an animal lover because of his job. My analysis for this particular choice is more the isolation it provides. I believe that was the picture Mr.Toriyama was trying to paint, when he came up with the tidbit.
Of course he can love animals but I don't think that's an aspect for us think about. The #16 connection is far to thin to be relevant.

I really look forward to the Cat Pride Trooper since he does look like Beerus and Champa. I personally like to see some type of origin for Beerus and Champa on how they become Gods. Same goes with the other ones as well.

I think you're right because when Toriyama talked about the job he said "it's the perfect job for N 17 who liked being on his own and didn't like to cooperate with others' he never mentioned anything about 16 eventhough a lot of fans are making that connection right now.

Super's introduced forms exclusive to it already like SSIkari and SSRose on top of variations like Golden SS with the Whis Gi or Blue with the Old Gis or Blue with Kaio-Ken. That's not counting the manga which gave Black SS and Vegeta SSGod.

Making Goku's strongest form a variation on his Base seems like something Toriyama would go for. His whole mentality with Ultimate was that copious transformations were fucking stupid and wasteful and making Base your strongest level of power is most efficient.

I'm talking about an exclusive new form for Goku. It will have a huge impact. A normal form will kill all possibility of selling product....
Mystic Goku seems much more a fan fiction.
Fukkatsu No F already has a Goku normal stronger than everything, there's no way Toriyama will do the same !
I'm waiting for the reveal of the form to have the confirmation.
Like always we'll have huge disappointement for dreamers.

Kaio-Ken didn't change Goku's appearance beyond giving him a red aura & skin and they've made plenty of effective merchandise with it. Adding in some misty or white glow to Goku shouldn't be too difficult.

Plus, a lot of Super is literally in-continuity fanfiction by Toriyama, Toyotaro and Toei, they've literally done it all except recoloring SS4 and bringing that concept into the new stuff which I wouldn't put it past them.

FnF also didn't make Goku's base stronger than everything if he needed a transformation to avoid Freeza from instantaneously murdering him, Ultimate's entire point is to remove transformations completely. Plus Goku's stronger Base form has been retconned out by the new stuff bringing in the golden line back and powering him down to Mister Boo levels.

No it didn't his base is still stronger not to mention buu was training for 2 hours what's makes you think he didn't get stronger.

Idk, the similarities are way too strong for them to not be somewhat related imo. Maybe it's Beerus' twin race equivalent from universe 2?

Or it could be that they lazyily recycled Beerus' design and we'll probably get a one off comment by Goku saying "Oh he looks like you Lord Beerus *snigger snigger*" and that will be the end of it, I honestly wouldn't put it past them doing that. I hope not as this seems perfect to get something interesting Beerus related going on.

Yup, I took it as foreshadowing as well but then comes the problem of how are they going to do that in a span of hours..
Gohan has to regain his mystic, I am wondering if he and Krillin are going into rostat together? With Krillin teaching him experience of tournaments

I don't see Kuririn and Gohan being equals or being the last two survivors at all. I'm still going with Goku as the last one of U7, but I have no doubt that Gohan and Kuririn will be vital to the team.

Not happening. Having 17 be there at the end is just too random instead of Vegeta, Piccolo or Gohan. He is returning but he is not a character like Future Trunks.

Krillin is not going to outlast all these other characters unless he is extremely lucky and I dont see Toriyama doing this.

Wait until all have been recruited and everything has been discussed by all the characters before saying who is doing what.

Gohan pretty much has gotten the position as the second main character of this arc, so by his relation to Gohan, Piccolo will be involved to.

Let's be serious here, it is going to be Piccolo's plan and not Gohan's or at least it should be. Episode 84 showed us that Gohan does not really know what he is doing.
